288. APOLOGIZE

Noah recoiled in both disgust and horror at the sight that lay before him. He tried to switch to his emotionless side but the sheer amount of pain he felt didn't allow him enough focus to do that.

The infection continued to spread at an alarming rate, as he estimated that in less than a minute his whole leg would be in that state!

Needless to say, he considered doing as the system had suggested, but he recoiled once again at the thought of severing one of his body parts. Nevertheless, he understood that he had to do something before things went worse.

Taking a deep breath as sweat broke on his forehead and many parts of his body. Noah raised his left hand over his left leg. Closing his eyes; he poured essence into freezing that body part.

He, however, grimaced when he found that he couldn't freeze his leg. He quickly understood why, as it had to do with his comprehension. He had an affinity for ice that his body could withstand even in that state.
