629. HARM

The giant guard brought Noah to the said temple. It was a rather simple-looking pagoda with what looked like 8 floors.

Its figure stood tall, but its black and red colors seemed dull under the night sky.

Noah walked in silence. They had hiked a hill to get there. It had taken less time than originally anticipated, though.

'We could have just flown, or something,' he complained inwardly. But of course, the whole thing didn't bother him apart from the ten minutes they had wasted.

Thankfully the giant had promised to make sure things were done quickly for him.

"Please," the armored guard ushered Noah in, pointing at a large black door.

Noah nodded, walked forward, and placed both of his palms on the door to push it.

It was wooden, but the quality of that wood interested him.

Unfortunately, the second he stepped in, he felt space twist and turn around him. But it was more stable than any space manipulation technique he had encountered.
