Still, several issues remained with utilizing that great skill. One of them being the sheer energy requirement for activating it.

Being a skill attached to his nature as a Speedling—and a hybrid at that, Noah had to pour not only speed essence but a buck load of soul energy into activating it once.

And from his calculations even with his greatly improved speed essence reserves, he could only activate it five times before being completely drained of essence!

He could theoretically use it seven times before his soul energy ran out, but without essence, that number was only imaginary.

The second limit was of course its area of effect. He could expand his consciousness to more than one hundred times the range limit, but there was nothing he could do about that detail.

The third major limit remained the fact that to steal the movement speed of anything at all, it had to be in motion.
