Living in the darkness for so long Hua Lin gets frustrated and runs away.
But she had nowhere to go! So she starts running without looking back till her face turns pale.

Unknowingly she reaches a place, a place that could change her fate!
Bang! she crashes with a stance and dang, there she finds a familiar face!
A face that made her heart race, a face she had encountered after a long space. Yes, they weren't so familiar yet she remembered him clearly from each they met.

But fate had other plans for her and she gets entangled with someone she never knew, a figure that had always stood there unnoticed.
A mafia boss he is, he says!

She had no choice but to agree to what he said. A contract? she was homeless with nowhere to go, she couldn't even return from where she came from.
So she agrees with the contract with the unknown figure that he said, yet her heart longed for the one it did.

The eyes are wary of their stance and yet he wants her to notice, to notice her chance. Yet the figure goes unnoticed as it was.
How will the fate of these three lives unwind?
Will the unnoticed heart get some light? Or it will move on with that one-sided stance? A love triangle? Or will there be an interchange of feelings?

Housekeeper Fu noticed the young mistress heading towards the main door, her face was flushed. He immediately greets her, "Young miss!".


Hua lin enters the house and notices lingschen standing beside Uncle Fu. She straightens herself and strides towards them," Uncle Fu, lingschen!", she greets them politely.


"Are you hurt somewhere?", Lingschen notices her flushed face.


She glances at him," huh? no, I am fine, it's just that the weather is warmer than usual."


"As long as you are fine!", He smiles at her.


Hua lin had fallen for lingschen from the very first they met, he had been kind and nice to her as strangers and still, he was very kind to her. Lingschen had a pure figure and a handsome face that any girl could fall for, as she did. He had always respected her in every way, unlike taeyi, who never left a chance to tease her.


" Did you meet taeyi?", lingschen asked.


She shook her head, "I did", her face gets flushed again.


" Did he say something to you?", He glances at her face.


Hua lin still hadn't gotten through what happened in the yard, the thought of it still got her shy.


She hurriedly shook her head, "No he did not", and smiled awkwardly. 


Lingschen turned towards Mr.fu," Uncle Fu, I will get back to you later!" and turns towards her.


Mr. Fu leaves the place to give them space.


Lingschen looks at her flushed face and her dancing feet(*awkward position*).


He leans to get a closer look at her, "Are you sure you are fine?", he touches her forehead to check her.


Hua lin looks up to see lingschen bend to get a closer look at her. It reminds her of taeyi.


She quickly turns her head away and clears her throat," I am fine, I just feel a bit hot".She starts to fan herself with her hands.


*I must be crazy to think of taeyi*She thinks to herself, it was the first time she had not felt shy with lingschen but instead she got reminded of taeyi and missed her chance to get closer to him, lingschen.


Lingschen notices her awkwardness and smirks. *Cute*.


Hua lin was half the size of lingschen, she was small and had a beautiful figure, that would arouse in any man the want to protect her.


Lingschen felt the same, the first he saw her was a bit problematic but their second encounter left quite an impression on him.


He snaps out of his thought, "well, I have something to talk about to you!".


Hua lin looks up at his face in confusion.


" Didn't taeyi mention anything about it?", he looks at her face.


"You have to accompany taeyi for his next meet-up.", he glances at her.


" ah.! again, what is there to talk about it? I have to even if I don't want", she sighs.


Hua Lin's eyes get bigger," what? out of the country? for two days..?."


Her eyes widen more, "You mean I have to pretend to be his acquaintance of two days?".


" That's the first time..and too exhausting", she whines.


lingschen face firms, "It is an important one, the mafiosos from different countries come together on a special occasion, it is the only time they get to know about each other and the new mafiosos and it happens once a year.".


She looks in awe at him, *it means a meeting for mafias, I will be surrounded by dangerous men besides taeyi*, she slaps her face with her two hands and whines.
