After Gaofeng had first known that he had the Holy Yin-Yang physique, he knew that the path he was destined to walk was that of using absolute power to destroy all obstacles. This was obviously not news to him after he had entered the Holy Temple, but instead something he had known since he could truly know anything. He was clear that the greatest advantage of his physique, in addition to being able to utilize and combine Yin and Yang, was the tyrannically powerful meridians he had throughout his body. Such meridians could display their best might when using absolute force rather than intricate or fancy techniques. Thus, Gaofeng naturally sought every method possible to achieve his goal of being able to display an absolute power. The amount of Holy Lands, fragmented worlds, divine treasures and plants, divine beasts and mysterious figures, heritages and sects he had done research on to know what would benefit his path the most was immense. Thus, he had already created a cultivation path for himself based on this information and was now beginning to put it into action. Obtaining this perfect cultivation technique was simply the beginning, and there was much more to come.
That he surprisingly gained these perfect divine techniques now, shortened the time he needed by many years, as there were multiple heritages and techniques he could cross out based on what kind of techniques he chose in this place. Instead, he would rather choose to focus on increasing his cultivation, strengthening his body, and utilizing special natural occurrences and treasures to make his path sturdier and easier. Now came the next step in this special space, he would choose a movement technique. When first considering his options, there were three alternatives he had considered. These consisted of an intangible portal which carried with it the feeling of being the essence of space, another which was based on light and starpower, and yet another that was connected to a divine bird beast. In the end, Gaofeng chose the starpower as his movement technique, as this was the technique he found to be likely to be most helpful in achieving an ultimate striking power. The reason for this being that increasing his own speed using such concepts would help his striking power, while he figured that the spacial technique wouldn't directly increase his regular speed and thus that even if he could teleport from one spot to another, there would be no added momentum to his strikes. As for the last technique, he figured that this would be more related to agility and flexibility rather than absolute speed. When he had made his choice, he didn't hesitate and instantly went up to this twinkling star that kept speeding around in this immense space. Luckily Gaofeng's movement was like a God's in this place, otherwise he would never have been able to sense this star, much less catch up to it.
He placed his hand on the star before it could disappear and was again transported into the special space of this ability. This ability didn't have a grand name like the previous ability, and was instead simply called "Shimmer", but this also carried with it an immense confidence in the fact that the ability didn't need a fancy name. It's power would speak for itself. What Gaofeng found inside this space was wildly different than that of the Staff. His body didn't manifest directly here, instead he realized that he himself had become a gigantic star, sending out its light in every direction. Not only was his consciousness imbued in this star with the complete insight into the inner workings of the star, but he also felt that every single speck of light that left him carried with it his own consciousness so that he could truly experience what it was like to become light. This wasn't a simple way of merely utilizing external light, but instead a way to cultivate an internal starpower that could turn his entire being into light. Gaofeng continued feeling the special process which occurred inside "his" star-body and thus he was rapidly comprehending the essence of "Shimmer". It contained the path to truly become light and subsequently become able to shimmer, to swiftly appear and disappear, to move like light, to be able to split himself into minute specks of light for so to form them back together or even to reform his entire being from a single speck of light. This was naturally not something possible at the initial threshold of the technique, but it represented its scary potential. Not only could he choose to only become pure light, but he could also imbue his own body with the power of stars to gain speed and power to his strikes, as well as a scorching heat far beyond any star. This heat could be utilized in every strike and movement, and could eventually even be activated with a simple gaze, making it possible to sear the target's body and spirit without even moving.
Time passed for what felt like eons to Gaofeng, but which in reality only was a couple of seconds. In this period of time Gaofeng experienced himself being birthed as a star, growing stronger, and finally a supernova as this star's lifespan had ran its course. Due to Gaofeng's monstruous comprehension ability he was now able to see the essence of Shimmer and the way to form his own inner star became completely clear. With this new understanding after experiencing the life and death of what could be considered the essence of light, he had gained the qualifications to receive the complete technique. The entirety of the technique was transmitted as a method of cultivation into Gaofeng's mind before the phantom of the star settled in his mind next to the Staff. The staff released a fierce aura, but the star was indifferent to any provocations and simply continued rotating and flying around in what could be considered to be Gaofeng's inner soul realm, releasing the aura of scorching heat and visually it released a calm light, as well presenting the power and speed this divine art was capable of. This divine art, similarly to the previous divine art Gaofeng received, had ten major realms with great improvements. It didn't exactly consist of any particular or specific "moves", but instead as a continuous strengthening of his speed, power and might utilizing heat and the resulting light.
