Mia's Supernatural Journey

It's been over a week since the incident and everything was as if it never happened. Mia was happy the charges against her uncle Zack was dropped but the more she and Callin spoke the more they thought something was wrong. "Why would he give up on his plans?" Mia asked.

Then one day the ERC called Mia and Callin in. "I am sorry to inform you but we can not pay you anymore," the base commander said.

"Wait what?" Mia asked. "No work means you are not needed anymore. In fact, the hunters are a thing of the past now," the base commander said. "But you can not just fire us?" Mia asked. "Sorry but there are others that are more valuable than you right now," he said.

At home, Mia looked worried at Callin and asked, "what are we going to do?"

"With a baby on the way we will have to find different work," he said.
