Part five - Koby and the "Queen of the Monsters" 3/6

The "Queen" did not wait. As soon as the Hat's hand went down, she immediately jumped off the spot. Koby stood a little apart from everyone - he was definitely not going to take any part in the battle - so he perfectly saw everything that happened in the next few seconds.

Despite the sand underfoot and a decent ten meters distance between the "Queen" and Alvida, standing in front of everyone, it took the "Queen" no more than one moment to be right in front of the "Iron Mace". And although the girl's speed did not take the fat woman by surprise, it did not help the pirate:

- Urya-ah-ah! - Powerfully waved Alvida with her club.

A monstrous blow from her no less monstrous mace, which all members of her team feared so much, fell on the sand, completely not catching the easily dodged Queen. But the girl herself did not miss the opportunity given to her. Shifting to the side, she twisted her pole and stabbed upwards at Alvida's fully exposed stomach. And how she did it! The huge body was literally thrown into the air, and the clap from the blow of the steel pole, with a lead core, on the belly of the pirate, could probably be heard from any end of the island.

However, as subsequent events showed, the "Queen" was not at all going to stop with a single blow. As soon as the body of Alvida lifted off the ground, the girl herself soared into the air. Spinning the pole in her hands again, she abruptly lowered it onto the back of her opponent, putting all her strength and weight into the blow. The body of the pirate, throwing clouds of sand into the air, collapsed back to the ground with the force of a full-fledged meteorite. When the sand that shot up sat down, Koby saw the "Queen" standing next to the body of the unconscious Alvida. The boy was sure that a little bit more and his eyes would join his own jaw, which had long been lying on the ground. The reaction of the other pirates was quite consistent with the reaction of Koby himself. But the hunters behaved the way a bunch of bloodthirsty psychopaths were supposed to behave: they whistled and hooted. Except for "Pirate Slayer" Zoro. This one just grinned quite and, unlike the others, drank not beer, but sake, straight from his throat.

- Jump often Nami, it does amazing things to your figure! - shouted a pleased Hat.

- We confirm! - having saluted the girl with bottles, Johnny and Yosaku barked together.

The "Queen", casting a laughing glance in the direction of the satisfied guys, looked at the pirates standing in front of her. A few seconds and the pole in her hands spun again, and the girl herself took a step forward. The pirates swallowed in unison.

- S-s-shoot !!! - there was a somewhat hysterical cry from one of them.

There was no need to shout a second time. Most of the pirates rushed into the loose, providing room for maneuver for those with firearms. "Queen" did not blink an eye when about ten barrels were directed in her direction. She did not blink even when all ten pirates, directing the muzzles of their guns and pistols at her, almost simultaneously pulled the triggers. Shots rang out. Koby's eyes tried again to fall on the sand. They missed. All the pirates missed ... no, they didn't. The bullets just missed the Queen. Although, again no. The bullets hit the girl, but they slipped off her. Not ricocheted, but slipped off. Without leaving a single scratch on the Queen's body. Previously, pirates were simply afraid, but now some of them began to look as if they were about to put in their pants.

- K-kill her! - There was another shout, but now Koby saw what Barji, Alvida's first mate, was shouting. - Shoot, shoot! Shoot until you kill her!

And the pirates opened fire again. Again, this had no effect. The bullets slipped off the girl and continued to slip.

After standing still for a while, as if giving the pirates shooting at her an opportunity to come up with some other tactics besides useless firing at her, the "Queen" moved forward. After a few steps, the girl, with only one brush, again twisted her pole. The pirates' nerves broke down. They had already seen the Queen's pole in action, and knew that its rotation did not bode well for them. The shots stopped instantly, and the shooters themselves, throwing away useless in the present case guns and pistols, grabbed their swords. As Koby knew perfectly well, all the pirates now would prefer to run away, but they only had to look once in the direction of the drinking hunters to discard these stupid thoughts. Their only chance of survival was to defeat the leisurely advancing Queen. Although the Hats' phrase about their one percent chance of winning, now, in the light of everything that had already happened, did not look like an ordinary joke or an exaggeration, but a very real statement of fact.

Not knowing what to do, the pirates did what they used to do every time they came across a more or less strong enemy: they took the Queen in the ring and attacked at once. Unfortunately for themselves, Alvida's team underestimated the girl. Very greatly underestimated. A blow capable of throwing their captain into the air, despite its several hundred kilograms of weight, completely demolished everyone else. It was enough for the "Queen" to swing her pole once to send three or four people to the ground at once. And the one who directly fell under her blow, either did not get up at all, or could only go into a scream from the pain in the fractured bones. "Merciful"? Watching some of the pirates lying around like a broken dolls on the ground, Koby began to think that death might be their best option. After such injuries, without serious and expensive treatment, it was quite possible to remain disabled for the rest of their life.

Pirates of Alvida "Iron Mace" without this very Alvida were nothing. Nothing. They are used to fighting either completely helpless unarmed people, or attacking with a whole group on one. An average in strength and skill officer of the Marines in the East Blue, if he had a chance to fight them in a one-on-one duel, he would have easily coped with any of them. What then can we say about Nami, who, for more than six months, has been training daily with the most powerful and famous swordsman in East Blue? After an absolutely invincible monster, such pirates were perceived by the girl as nothing more than an easy warm-up.
