Part eight - Demons of East Blue 6/??

The guys had to interrupt the further conversation for purely technical reasons: Craig attacked Yosaku with a huge spiked iron ball on a chain, Gin,mentioned earlier, tried to blow off Johnny's head with his tonfas. Both attacks failed, but the retaliatory attacks were more ... successful? In the case of Johnny, this is true, but it was impossible to say this about Yosaku, rather the opposite.

Yosaku, who attacked Craig, ran into what Don himself called Dangan (Weapon Set). Yosaku attacked in such a way that Craig did not have time to regain the ball with spikes, that is, he remained against him with only his "diamond fists". He had no other weapon ... and so Yosaku thought exactly until he was three meters from Don.

As soon as the guy approached, Craig simply released the chain from his hands, and the next moment, under Yosaku's widening gaze, Don was holding two double-barreled pistols. Craig's large, round shoulder pads then lifted up, revealing two more double-barreled pistols, and then his armor on his sides opened up as well. Yosaku saw six more additional pistol muzzles aimed at him - three muzzles on each side. By this time, Yosaku was already literally one and a half meters from Don, so it was simply impossible to miss from such a distance, especially considering the total number of barrels aimed at him. In just two seconds, Craig stuffed Yosaku with lead like a duck with apples. And the caliber of the barrels turned out to be such that the guy was simply carried away with his back forward, as if he had been hit by a train.

Unlike Yosaku, Johnny's attack went smoothly.

Dodging Gin's iron tonfas, the guy first rushed to the clown, hung with shields. First, he really annoyed him, and secondly, Johnny assumed that with so much extra weight on him, he would be slow. And so it happened. When Johnny attacked, Pearl tried to brush him off with his shielded hand, but the guy just jumped over it and pressed his hand into the face of his annoying idiot:

- What's the point of carrying so many shields on yourself if they still can't protect you? - Johnny asked him, literally hovering over the fat man with his head down, for which the guy had to squeeze the fat man's face tightly with his fingers - otherwise he simply would not have stayed in this position.

- Wa-Wait! - the idiot in shields turned very pale in face.

- It's too late!

Johnny's palm became red-hot in one second, because of which the fat man immediately screamed deafeningly, and then there was an explosion that completely blew off the big man's head. Slightly tossed by the explosion, Johnny rolled over the headless body and, landing on the sand, slowly turned around. Pearl's body, standing for a while, slowly fell forward, crashing heavily onto the sand.

Johnny looked at Gin.

- Pe-pearl-san !!! Pearl-san was killed !!! - the pirates shouted around.

- SON OF A BITCH !!! - the voice of an angry Yosaku instantly overlapped all the others. - YOU'RE DONE, BASTARD !!!

Johnny, diligently stifling a smirk that was trying to crawl onto his face, turned his gaze to his furious friend. The rapidly growing wounds on his body indicated that he was "killed" again and Yosaku clearly did not like it. The guy took up his swords. If earlier he wanted to beat Craig properly before killing him, now Yosaku just wanted to kill him and nothing more. Really wanted to.

No sooner said than done! Yeah, how ...

This time, Yosaku had his swords in his hands, so he easily avoided another hail of bullets that Craig rained down on him. However, in the end, it helped him little. As soon as the guy ran to Don, he simply dropped his pistols and pointed his empty palms at Yosaka, in a universal gesture for the whole world. Seeing that Craig surrendered, Yosaku involuntarily lost his step, so puzzled by this development of events. Don was not at all like a person who would just take it like that and give up. He didn't, which means ... what does this mean, Yosaku felt on his own skin a second later:

- Kaen Hosha (Flamethrower)!

As it turned out, under Craig's wrists were real flamethrowers. And what kind of flamethrowers! During sparring, Yosaku repeatedly fell under the fire attacks of his friend, so he had something to compare with. So, the temperature of Don's fire was not inferior to Johnny's strongest attacks. Thanks to the experience of fighting the most natural fire-breathing person, despite all the surprise of the attack, Yosaku still managed to react. As soon as tongues of fire escaped from under Craig's wrists, the guy immediately threw down his swords - otherwise the handles could have fused with the skin, this has already happened - and crossed his arms in front of his face. Even so, Yosaku's hands were instantly burned to the bone, so his face was not left intact.

The power of the guy's fruit immediately started to work to its fullest. The monstrous burns began to rapidly tighten, the meat and skin grew right before our eyes, as did the hair that had burned out on the head. And yet, given the situation, it all happened too slowly. During the battle, it is not that every second is important, but every moment. Yosaku also managed to lose his eyesight for a long ten seconds. In addition, the pain of the burns was very confusing. Although the fruit Yosaku endowed him with incredible regeneration power, this did not relieve the guy from the pain. Craig would be a complete idiot if he missed the opportunity to deal with a completely defenseless opponent. That is why, as soon as his sharpness of thinking and the ability to see returned to Yosaku, he was immediately able to appreciate Don's preparations:

- Oh shit ... - the hunter announced his verdict.

While he was restoring his sight, Craig managed to take off his left shoulder pad and ... Frankly speaking, Yosaku had no idea what exactly Don did with his shoulder pad, but he didn't need it. The guy understood the most important thing right away, and has already spoken about it.

- You definitely said that! - Craig chuckled insolently, which made his already disgusting face even more disgusting, and then added: - Nidoru Mashingan (Needle Machine Gun)!

Craig's new weapon was only half justified in its name. If the part about the "machine gun" was correct, then instead of "needles" Yosaku was stuffed with full-fledged stakes - okay, just small stakes, but certainly not needles! - fifteen centimeters long and two fingers thick. The guy did not have time to dodge, but before the first iron stake pierced his body, Yosaku had enough time to turn his right side to Craig and again cover his head with his hands. The guy learned well how to minimize his injuries if he could not completely avoid them, or he needed to miss an attack in order to be able to launch a counterattack.

Like any fruit, the Yosaku's fruit had its limitations. The guy's regeneration remained almost instantaneous exactly until his heart or brain was damaged. As soon as one of these organs suffered, Yosaku's regeneration fell by half, but if both the brain and the heart suffered, then the recovery rate even decreased six to ten times - here everything depended on the extent of the damage. Accordingly, if the mentioned organs were damaged, then the restoration began with them, and the heart was always regenerated first of all. Again, this meant that if someone broke Yosaku's head and ripped out his heart, then he could be "dead" for ten to fifteen minutes. That is why, Yosaku, when Craig decided to make him a hedgehog man, put his right side up and covered his head with his hands. He could regenerate injured arms and side in five to ten seconds, in contrast to injuries to the head and heart.

This time, Yosaka was not thrown back. The guy took up a stable enough position to withstand Craig's attack without budging. Did not help. Without stopping shooting, Don himself stepped back, again increasing the distance between them, and then, apparently considering this distance insufficient, Craig stopped shooting and threw several small, steel balls at Yosaku's feet. Small, but it jerked so that Yosaku almost tore off his legs. From the explosion, the guy threw five meters up and threw another fifteen meters back.

Watching all this, Johnny still could not keep his feelings in check, so his lips spread into a wide, satisfied smile. Watching Craig beat Yosaku like a little bitch over and over again ... in general, Johnny was frankly gloating and no longer even tried to hide it. Why was the guy gloating? So those who have never fought with an immortal, almost instantly recovering enemy, do not understand this. Especially if, according to the results of the battle, the captain who was hit on his head was taken for the one who, in his opinion, showed himself not well enough. Considering that Yosaku's always loudly cursing - this is how he coped with pain - forced to constantly heal his many wounds, almost delighted Luffy, Johnny was almost always the most extreme.

- Everyone, put on masks! - Don's somewhat unexpected order sounded.

Surprised, Johnny looked around and really saw how all the pirates around him took out their masks from their pockets. Gin, standing not far from the guy, was no exception. He, like Johnny, was in no hurry to continue their battle that had just begun and also preferred to watch the fight between Craig and Yosaku ... if the one-sided beating of Yosaku could be called a fight. Johnny was already looking forward to the moment when he would tell Luffy about everything that happened here. Johnny was sure that for so many deaths, and even in a row, for Yosaku expect, if not another story about "the little engine who could", then somewhere close to it.

While Johnny, hands in his pockets, looked around, all the pirates put on masks.

- Let's see how your immortality is combined with a poisonous gas, - Don grinned maliciously, putting on a mask in the same way.

Craig aimed his needle machine gun at the desperately cursing Yosaka, who tried unsuccessfully to get to his feet, but due to severe damage, he constantly fell back onto the sand. Don's shoulder pad, which he turned into his needle machine gun, had his pirate flag painted on it - skull, crossed bones, everything as it should be. It was the mouth of the skull that opened. The jaw dropped down, the upper part rose up, and then the hole that formed expanded even more when it opened to the sides, like a window shutter. Still aiming his weapon at Yosaka, Craig said:

- Modoku Gas Dan: MH5 (Deadly Poison Gas Bomb: MH5)!

From the hole in the shoulder pads, a real bomb flew out, most of all similar to a boxing glove, both in appearance and in its size. In addition, Don clearly did not deny himself additional pleasure, so the glove bomb crashed exactly into Yosaku's forehead. The guy's legs had just recovered enough so that he could climb on them and stand normally when the bomb that hit his forehead threw him back again and knocked him over on his back. After hitting Yosaku's forehead, the bomb exploded, instantly engulfing everything around in green, poisonous smoke. And when the smoke, a few minutes later, more or less cleared away, all the pirates saw a picture of Johnny calmly picking his little finger in his ear.
