Part nine - Once, a liar, a cheater and a deciver met 17/??

Johnny didn't mind watching the show either. The performance, which they all, taking into account the speed of Nami, were already very late ... And if we talk about Nami, then that Luffy deceived her, the girl guessed almost instantly, as soon as she saw the place of the ambush. Walking through the Black Cat pirates like an iron through the folds of their clothes - not a trace of most was left, but it was not possible to get rid of all of them in one go - and, stopping next to Usopp, Nami assessed the situation.

By the time she arrived, Usopp had been beaten up pretty well, but it was quite obvious that no one was going to finish him off. True, the girl did not quite understand why. Perhaps he could see the village destroyed by pirates with his own eyes? Or were they left alive, so that later, upon completion of all the affairs on the island, thoroughly avenge him for all the problems caused to him? Pirates loved to torture people almost as much as to rob and rape. In general, whatever the pirates were guided by, they decided to keep Usopp alive, albeit temporarily. And that also meant Luffy was lying. Nothing surprising or unusual, but Nami still pursed her lips slightly in displeasure when realized. Damn captain, made her worry when there was no reason at all.

Nami immediately took out her displeasure on the pirates who remained on their feet - the iron mercilessly smoothed out the folds remaining on the clothes.

- Who are you? - Asked Jango, when all his men were again lowered down the slope ... through all the thorns and oil.

- My name is Nami, - the newly calmed girl kindly introduced herself, but then, remembering what she had said to all Luffy's family, she added, - A pirate, navigator and a member of the Straw Hat family.

- Nami ? - immediately worried Jango. Recently, the name of the girl has gained fame, quite comparable to the fame of the name of Zoro: her photos have been leaked to several newspapers and magazines. But, unlike Zoro's photographs, they were not horror at all, not horror at all. - Did you tell Nami? I mean, Nami the "Queen of Monsters"? You look exactly like her!

- Because I am the "Queen".

- "Queen of Monsters" is one of the pirate hunters, not a pirate! So you can't be her, no matter how much you look like her! - there was logic in Jango's words, the problem was in his tone.

The pirate's voice sounded as if, first of all, he wanted to convince himself of everything he said. Logic or not, the chance of the existence of two such beautiful girls, possessing similar strength and the same manner of fighting, was equal, if not zero, then somewhere nearby. Jango's forehead was covered with sweat, and he himself turned noticeably pale. All the East Blue knew that if even one of the Pirate Slayers was hanging around somewhere, then everyone else was always nearby. Including the most important "Pirate Killer". It is beyond words how much Jango did not want to date such a person. As a pirate with an official bounty on his head, he didn't think too highly of his chances of staying alive if such a meeting happened ... if there were any chances at all.

- You have outdated information, - showing Luffy's "goodwill", Nami kindly replied to Jango's words. - There are no pirates of interest to us in East Blue, so we ourselves became pirates. The Straw Hat Pirates.

Before Jango could figure out how to respond to such a revelation, Usopp intervened.

- I don't… I can't believe that you are so strong, - the guy said in shock, finally finding his voice. His lips were smashed into blood, causing Usopp to speak with obvious difficulty and a little slurred.

The pirates, by the time Nami arrived, had managed to take care of him well. There are many small cuts all over the body, the face is bruised, one eye is completely swollen, the guy's long nose is rolled onto its side, and his left ear is severely swollen and has acquired a rich purple color. Usopp also held on to his ribs, but it was unclear if they were broken or just beaten off. In general, it's okay. Most importantly, he was still alive, so Nami saw no reason to worry about him. Over the past six months, the girl has repeatedly had the opportunity to make sure that the human body cannot be underestimated. And each new training session with Zoro convinced Nami of this even more.

At this moment, Jango still haven't found how to respond to Nami's revelations. So the pirate decided to go with the trump cards:

- Buchi, Sham! Come here immediately! - Turning towards the water, he barked at the top of his lungs.

Almost immediately, a dinghy was thrown from the marine ship into the water, and then two people jumped into it. Two minutes later, a couple of pretty idiots came ashore, judging by Nami's extremely biased point of view. One was tall, fat, dressed in a fur cape, oversized striped leggings, and a large cat-bell around his neck. The second, with acid green hair, wore shorts and a blue shirt with a red bow tie. Nami did not see any cold weapons or firearms on them, but she did quite see gloves with large, steel claws. Gloves like these could become quite dangerous weapons in the right hands. The trouble with the new couple was that Nami somehow did not see these "right hands" in front of her. And, of course, they, like all the other Black Cat pirates, wore black cat-ears on top of their heads ... Luffy could well have killed all these pirates just for their appearance. It would be quite in his spirit.

- Captain Jango, why did you call us? - The green-haired one asked. - Our task is to guard the ship.

- The situation has changed, Sham, - Jango told him. - You need to deal with this girl, - he pointed at Nami. - And you need to do it out as quickly as possible, otherwise Captain Kuro may get angry, and then all of us will be in trouble.

- And what was that explosion? - asked the fat man, who, as Nami understood, was Buchi, since the green-haired man responded to Sham.

- It doesn't matter yet, - Jango shook his head. - Now the main thing for us is to deal with the girl. We can deal with the rest later.

Although Nami was standing far away, she still clearly heard their conversation, so she was immediately overcome by doubts about its contents. Jango already understood who she was, who might be nearby, and how this could all end, both for him and for his entire team, and, nevertheless, he was still going to deal with her. Usually Nami would write off such confidence as underestimating the enemy, but not this time, there was clearly something different here. Fear of his former captain? It looks like, but somehow it is some kind of stretch.
