Chapter: twenty nine: going forward one more step

"Rise." Cynthia said. Conrad held Cynthia's hand. The man rose. Simeon had come to his senses somewhat and while still hugging Tina he did manage to introduce the kneeling man to their Majesties. "Your Majesties, this is Max. Max has been one of my best friends all my life. Sadly, Blake went insane many years ago so I lost his friendship. But Max and I stayed close." Conrad spoke now, "Max, I declare you as Beta of the Silver Moon Pack . You will serve loyally your new Alpha Simeon." Max blinked then looked up wide eyed at Simeon. Simeon nodded yes. Tina snuggled into Simeon's chest and giggled again. Simeon thought that was the sweetest music ever! Her giggles were amazing and set a part of him on fire.

"It appears we have a Luna to annouce as well, my dear." Cynthia said smiling. "Yes. My love, since you bested their Alpha this is techncally your pack until we officially hold the ceremony."

"Then let's hold the ceremony tonight." Cynthia said winking at Simeon. Simeon looked down at his lovely mate,"Are you ready?" Tina blushed and smiled, "Yes. Let's do this...together. Our pack needs hope." Looking at Cynthia and Conrad she bowed. "You have brought us hope! I was not here in this pack when you were abused. My family just arrived from the Pacific North West a week ago. Daddy was on a mission for many years for Alpha Blake. We all feared Alpha Blake. I am so sorry about how you were treated, your Majesty."

"It was not you who abused or neglected me. But thank you for your kind words."

Conrad and Cynthia held hands and walked away towards a picnic bench under an oak tree. Conrad looked at his beloved seriously, "My love, I agree with your decision to make Simeon Alpha and Max his Beta. Tina will be a great Luna. However, I am concerned...about you not killing Blake. Do you not think he will seek revenge? Is his death not a better option?"

Cynthia looked down at the ground, "Conrad, it is my hope that he will learn that his prejudices and obsessions are wrong. No Supernatural will work with him. He is branded."

Conrad touched her arm, "Love, what of hunters? He has worked with them..."

"No,Conrad. No hunter will work WITH him. He killed one of their most famous hunters. His son saw from the tree line."

"How do you know that?"

"I met him when I was running away. He was sobbing in the forest. He said his father had bragged about what he was doing here. His mother and he did not agree with his father and he had followed him to stop him that very night. But before he could stop his father, Blake killed him and ...well...you know the rest."

"So, why would you think hunters would not work with Blake?"

"Because...because his son is now the head of the hunters and now they only kill Supernaturals who go rogue, follow evil. He sobbed on my shoulder and promised me his hunters would

never again hunt innocents."

"My love, I ...I ... you have even managed to make a treaty with humans...hunters? You amaze me!" Conrad leaned down and kissed her. " Well then, let's get this ceremony done." He extended his hand to Cynthia and they walked into the Silver Moon Pack house together. Tina and Simeon called an all pack gathering and Conrad and Cynthia, together, made Simeon Alpha and Tina Luna of the Silver Moon Pack. Max became his Beta. And after the ceremony, while everyone was celebrating, the two of them, the King and Queen of the Supernatural Kingdom teleported back to the Blood Moon pack.

Cynthia hugged Conrad tightly and declared her love again and again. Conrad kissed her passionately and before anyone knew they were back, the two went to their room and...well... let's just say an heir was conceived that very night.
