Meeting White

"Well well you certainly know how to make an entrance."

This voice is familiar and judging by the white stilettos shoes I think I know who it is. As I reorient myself with reality I get up and meet White Diamond in the eye. Which is surprising since she should be like what 90ft tall. I would say I'm around 87ft. Putting that aside I push my hair out of the way and respond.

"Apologies White, I was just disoriented by the formation of my body. I meant nothing by it."

I have to be respectful, knowing White in the show I knew that I have to watch what I say or there is no telling what she would do. However, judging by how this isn't Homeworld and she is here, the information from what I'll just call the H(Homeworld) juice, and the lack of Blue, yellow, or Pink Diamond. I would say I'm near the beginning of era 1 in Gem history.

As I finished my analysis of the situation I stopped to truly look at White and boy I realized I am not in a cartoon. She has similar clothing in the show with the long white dress outlined in grey near the top and a slightly lighter shade near her shoulders, with a glittering black cape that is hung around her arms, and with both of her pure white legs showing themselves near the parting within her dress. I'd say that she and her cartoon counterpart are twins if not for one glaring detail, her face or lack of one. She has black glossy lips, eyes that are outlined by what looks to be like professionally done eyelashes, and a darker shade of white that surrounds a white diamond shaped pupil.

And that's it.

She has no jawline, ears, or cheek bones and her head seems to branch out into 5 symmetrical arrows in what I assume to be hair. Might be because of how she is making herself glow and getting rid of anything that seems "out of place". Having had enough anime time to think to myself I slow my perception to normal time and hear White respond in her same calm and slightly enthusiastic demeanor.

"Nonsense Black, there's no need to apologize. Perfection takes time and effort and no resource is wasteful if used on us. The planet was a necessary sacrifice for the needs of our empire."

Her voice becomes a tone lighter.

"Though I must say that the cost was certainly worth the product."

Finishing her thought she pushed my hair behind my ear and cupped my face in her hand. Ok I feel like she's raising some flags here. First, referring to me as a product I can sort of understand the family dynamic shown in the show and secondly the look in her eye when she placed her hand on my face. Am I a stunner or what? I'll check a mirror later.

Nodding my head in response she lets go of my face and a white bubble surrounds us. I know we're moving but I can't feel anything. Almost as if I'm in a separate space. Can I do that? I mean every Diamond has their own power in the show with some shared characteristics. I need to research this thoroughly.

The white bubble quickly collapsed around us and I'm in what I assume to be a the white torso ship. I'm surrounded by a dark room with a white pedestal in front of me. As White steps on the pedestal the area around me becomes transparent and I see the outside of the world. Before I can come out of my stunned trance White asks me.

"Are you ready Black? Say goodbye to this rock because we're going home now."

"What would happen to this place?" I ask her

She pauses for a millisecond before she brings out a kind and understanding smile. Like a parent to a child. Wait, am I her child? I came from the planet's resources and through Gem technology. The technology in which she orchestrated and used in order to bring about my existence in a manner similar to her own. So would she be my mother or sister?

She responds to my question.

"I understand Black. I too had some slight attachments to my own planet and I felt the same trepidation when leaving, but you must know that in order for us to exist the planets had to give us every single bit of their resources. It's just a hunk of rock now so look up and go forward, no point in looking back on useless things."

"I see now, thank you."

She's right in how there is no use in looking back, but wrong about the planet giving me its resources. I felt it in the planet's will. It didn't want to die, to be forgotten throughout existence. For all of its pain, suffering, and experience it had lost everything to higher life forms that came across it.

As the ship pulled out into the atmosphere I saw the planet in its entirety. There was no water or vegetation. There were cracks that could be seen in space all across the planet and it would slowly break apart from what I have seen. It was a long contrast from the bustling utopia it once was or could have been once again if I hadn't come along.

As the warp drive began to do its work I said some silent words to the truly dead planet. My only payment for giving birth to my existence and compensation for taking its inheritance.

"Thank you. I know that deep down you hate me and curse me from taking everything from you. I mean how couldn't I know? Those were your last thoughts after all and I devoured you. I don't know how I should respond? I don't regret my birth and the death of your people was their own fault. You were just living for the sake of living, we both know it. So all in all I guess I can only say…

Goodbye."
