Myths Pt.1 (History No.2)

Back at the dawn of time, there was just a complete mess of an enormous ball, prevented from exploding only because of the mineral that was outside. The ball was the size of the Earth that we are standing on right now. Everything was there, inside. Air, water, earth, and much more. It would have remained like that forever until a small being grew. It was a tiny worm, so minuscule that it didn't make a difference at all. It was the goddess of Chaos, Smilathlia. But then she got very bored. After all, because of how compact the ball is, she couldn't even move. So, Smilathlia started digging and digging, piling whatever that she dug behind her. After days and days of toiling away, eating the things that she could find on the way, Smilathlia finally went outside of the ball. There was nothing, though. Smilathlia stayed outside, bored.

It was a few days afterward that she thought of an idea.

"What if I dig out the mineral and let everything out?", she muttered to herself.

Then she figured that there was nothing better to do anyway, so she started.

She worked and worked and worked. Finally, I will let everything out! Smilathlia trembled in excitement.

Just as Smilathlia took away the last piece of the incredibly strong mineral, now known as tungsten, everything went wrong.

The enormous ball exploded magnificently, and everything was now floating in the endless void. Out of there, came Gaemisus, the god of earth, and Birithron, the god of the sky. They looked like us and were the best of brothers. Gaemisus collected the earth and all the minerals together, and Birithron collected the parts of the sky. They pieced them together, and bam, the Earth was made. However, at that time, there was no life, and the earth was just a desolate wasteland. The three gods decided to try make everything livelier. They started sculping the beings out of earth, while Birithron blew into the beings, giving them life. All the gods had to do was wait for a few days, and the beings will populate the planet.

One day, Birithron was looking at the sculptures, thinking about how life would be much better with those little things running around. However, he accidentally dropped one of them, and as Birithron fumbled around trying to pick it up, he misshaped all of them.

"Oops," Birithron said guiltily

Smilathlia just so happened to come by, and she scolded Birithron savagely. "Blast it! You New Gods are all so clumsy."

"At least we do not wriggle around on the ground."

Smilathlia then asked Gaemisus, who was attracted by all the racket, "Can I ask you a question? Am-"

Gaemisus responded cleverly, "You already did."

"Gah, you all are intolerable!"

"Thanks for sharing. I am refreshed and challenged by your unique point of view." Gaemisus said wittily and smugly (he always took pride in his retorts, and just like this one, they were all in a sing-song tone).

Smilathlia turned away and stormed off, not unlike Zeus, although as a worm and the goddess of chaos it is substantially harder.

Soon, the sculptures were forgotten, and after a few days, they all came to life. The gods by then have already forgiven each other with effort and went to witness the occasion. However, everything was not as they had expected. The beings were driven by evil, and they were consumed by greed. The beings, who are now called monsters, tried to take over the gods. They attacked the gods separately and weakened the three gods until they almost died. However, then the gods thought of a wonderful idea. It was to create a new species that can combat the monsters.

The three of them executed the plan immediately, and did everything like last time, except not messing around with the second batch of sculptures. After four days, the new beings came to life. They were intelligent, and the gods gave their everything to strengthen them. At the beginning, they were weak, and many were being killed by the monsters that dwelled. However, it was then that a special trait that the gods had bestowed made a difference.
