Cutting Ellis in the middle Clive says, "Cut it out Ellis. Unless you want our friendship to stop right here. (Taking a big sigh) Ellis I know you're hiding something from us. We've noticed the difference over the past few days. Now, tell the truth, the real truth. C'mon man, we're brothers, whatever it is, you should know nothing can separate us. (Taking another sigh) If you still won't tell us maybe we aren't worthy to be your brothers.``

Getting a little choked Ellis says, "Clive you and the boys mean the world to me. You guys are all I have. (A little frustrated) God where did this Jane come from. OK, leave your bike here, we'll pick it up in the morning. Let me drop you home and promise I'll tell you guys in the morning."

Clive quietly gets in the car and Ellis drops him off at his home and goes home himself.

As Ellis enters he sees Edward and Dorothy sitting at the table. Seeing Ellis, Edward asks, "Need any help in the morning." A little frustrated, "When will you guys stop reading my mind?"

Smiling Dorothy says, "We only read when you're in trouble. You know that. So, you'll manage with your friends or need us to tag along." Giving out a small laugh, Ellis says, "For now, seeing me is enough. They'll meet you guys in the evening. Just be normal. Night."

Both Edward and Dorothy say good night to Ellis together.

As Ellis goes up, Dorothy asks Edward "What now?" " Nothing, says Edward, for now at least. Let him sort it out. Though it's been quite a while here and moving is gonna be hard, we are a family. Dorothy, you and me, we might have separate lives, Ellis is not our son but at the end of the day, we are one and never separating. So, if Ellis has to leave, we leave with him." Taking a sigh, Dorothy says, "I have no problem in shifting, all these years I've taken to Ellis like a son and I worry about you also. Let's wait for tomorrow and see what lies ahead. Good night." Saying so Dorothy leaves and Edward also after a while goes to his room.

In the morning Joel and Denver wake up to see a text message from Clive telling them to ditch school and meet at the river creek. Seeing the message both try calling Clive but he doesn't answer so they call Ellis and it's the same. Finally Joel manages to dial Denver's number and as Denver picks up, "Joel do you know what's going on?" "If you're talking about the message, replies Joel, same here. Clive and Ellis aren't receiving my or rather our calls. So, let's go to the creek and see what's the matter."

Soon Joel and Denver arrive at the creek and see Clive and Ellis standing against two trees. As soon as they come close Clive speaks up, " OK, Ellis, your brothers are here and I don't think I need to ask them, we trust you and are with you no matter what. Now, speak the truth about what I saw and what we saw over these days."

Both Joel and Denver look at each other perplexed as they don't know what's happened.

After being quiet for a while Ellis takes a deep breath and says, "OK, first you go (telling to Clive) cause they need to know why we're here."

"No problem, '' says Clive, '' guys , yesterday night Tom called Ellis to come here alone and not to tell us either. Ronny and his goons thought they would gang up since he's alone but it's not only that his reflexes (Ellis's) are fast or he has eyes in the back but his eyes turned to bloody red and the way he threw them was not normal. Now, Ellis.. Stopping Clive Ellis begins, I'll take over. Guys I hid my identity from you guys was cause that's what we're supposed to do. That's our law for living among you humans. (The boys together say 'humans') Yes, cause I'm a vampire. "You're joking right," says Denver. Taking a sigh Ellis says, "Guys I can't change like in the movies, so I let teeth and stuff or sucking necks. Yes, when I get really angry my eyes color changes, that's all. Rest, cause I'm a vampire my reflexes, strength, agility is way beyond what humans can do or bear."

Denver instantly jumps up and says, "Means Ronny and his goons know about you. Damn man, could you not think before acting." Joel also gets angry at Ellis, "Ellis, are you in kindergarten? Man, half the town must know by now." Clive is about to hit his fist on the tree but Ellis comes in a flash and stops him. Just as Clive is about to say something Ellis intervenes saying, "Guys calm down. I've cleared their memories to a point. So, the only thing they remember is Tom calling me and them getting beaten by me and going off with Clive. And, I think by now you must have presumed Edward and Dorothy are also vampires."

Clive says, "Obviously, they're your parents. That's why you're a vampire because your parents are."

"Ah no", says Ellis, "that's not the reason."

"Meaning?" asks Denver.

Guys, a vampire couple can't have a vampire child cause the female vampires can't give birth. If we vampires want to have kids, we need human females.

Taking a sigh Ellis says, "Better sit down, it's gonna be long. (the boys together sit on the floor cause today they have decided they aren't letting Ellis go without telling everything). In our world, we have full vampires like me and Dorothy and half vampires like Edward."

"Wait a minute," says Joel, "If you can't have kids without humans, then shouldn't you all be half vampires."

Explaining, Ellis says, "Let me clear this for you. Full vampires, like me, are born when a human female gets pregnant by a male vampire and gets the female vampires blood infused in her so, this way the baby is nurtured by the female vampires blood resulting in a full (the boys together say- a full vampire), yes. And, if a male vampire impregnates a human female and she has a normal pregnancy period, it's a half vampire."

"OK, so how are you three … ." Ellis again cuts Clive and says, " My father and mother were vampires and when they wanted a family they asked a human female friend to be a surrogate mother for them. She did as they had helped her a lot. But, before my birth, my parents got killed by the humans. The friend hid me till Edward came to get me. Edward is my father's friend. When I was a little kid, Dorothy joined us and since then we've been together as a family. To blend in, they became my parents and I'm their son." Joel takes a moment to speak and asks, "So how old are you?" Smiling Ellis says, "Sorry stopped counting some thousand years ago. (All together say 'What' in a shock) and why I'm young, it depends on our DNA. We age to a certain point and then stop. Then we remain the same age till we die or are killed. Killed,is more possible than dying for us."

"So, you stopped aging in your twenties and Edward and Dorothy stopped in their forties, right," says Joel. "Yes," replies Ellis.

"Oh, and one more thing, says Ellis, half vampire's abilities are also limited, but mine since I'm a full vampire, they are at their height."
