Will Ellis Be Able to Save Ronny

"Especially when that bully has turned into a vampire," says Denver. Replying, Ellis says, "Denver I'm not going to kill Ronny, if that's what you guys are thinking." "But, Ellis, he's a vampire," retorts Clive. Taking a sigh Ellis says, " Guys he's not a vampire or at least yet. For now he's just a zombie being used by some vampire. As long as he's a human I'm not killing him. It's against my ethics and he's not my enemy. I just want him to understand that what he's doing with Jane and her mother is wrong."

Jane gets closer to Ellis and puts her arm in Elli's arm and says, "Ellis, at the present you should worry about yourself. That vampire is after you, not me. He's using Ronny against you, not me. I can't bear losing you. For the first time in my life, someone other than my mom is precious to me."

The moment Jane stops Clive seeing Ellis's face (Elli's face is shocked) says, "On behalf of Ellis, did you just confess your love for Ellis."

"Wow!," says Joel "That wasn't expected at this time. Rather maybe two or three weeks from now would have made sense, anyhow, now that you confessed, you're our sis-in-law."

"Yes, my mom is dying to see her bride. Thanks (taking Elli's hand) buddy. You saved me. Now she can enjoy her briddy stuff with Jane" says Denver.

As soon as Denver leaves Elli's hand he tries to loosen Jane's grip but fails so says, "Jane, I don't know why you said that, especially when you know I'm a vampire."

With sadness in her eyes Jane asks, "Why, (gives out a little laugh) cause I love you. And, I don't care as long as you love me. (suddenly like she remembered something) Oh yes, you've always seen me as a classmate. No problem, you take your time, I'm in no hurry. Just (almost teary eyed) don't like anyone else."

"Ellis, come on say yes," the boys say together.

"Guys, it's true I don't love Jane. I never thought about it. Not that I'm a vampire but love has not crossed my mind in decades."

"Decades," repeats Jane slowly losing her grip on Elli's arm.

Seeing Jane sadden Ellis catches her hand and says, "Jane, it was long ago. I don't even remember when, but yes she was my first love. But now she's past. I don't have any feelings for her or any other girl, vampire or human."

Jane asks a little hesitantly, "What happened?"

Smiling Ellis says, "God I haven't even said yes and you're jealous already. (taking a sigh) She was a vampire cause at that time I was to be the next in line to rule so obviously humans were not in my knowledge. Matter of fact, at that time I thought they were in a different world. I didn't know we were just borders apart. Anyhow, for me it was true but she was only a decoy so, I would give up my line and let her brother take over instead of me. So, obviously her brother and I had a big fight in which I ended up defeating him. Since then he and his sister disappeared."

"What if she comes back," asks Jane a little timidly.

"Jane, at present I won't deny I like you (the boys jump cheering), but I need time because a human girl is a big deal for me as a Cosmos ruler. If they are still after me, that means my position still matters. And, I can't risk any of you. And, Jane today you confessed so rest assured I don't have anyone in my heart. I like you. I just need to be hundred percent sure you're in no danger cause of me. And, as for her, she betrayed me for my line, I can never forget it. This ruler battle took my father away from me. She was on the other side, not on mine. The ones who caused my father's death are my enemies, I can and never will have any relation with them. Don't worry, trust me."

Smiling Jane hugs Ellis and the boys start cheering again.

Just then Ellis keeps his finger on his mouth signaling everyone to be quiet. Ellis quickly clasps his hands and says, "By the power bestowed upon me." A ray falls down onto his hands and he makes a circle. "Everyone, get inside the circle, quick (the boys and Jane quickly get inside the circle). No one can harm you inside the circle. Only I can enter it. Stay in no matter what."

"Ellis, what's the matter, " asks Joel.

Replying, Ellis says, "I feel someone is here."

Just then Ronny comes out and leaps towards Ellis. Denver sees Ronny's eyes and yells to Ellis, "Ellis his eyes are red. Be careful."

"Don't worry guys, he's in a stance. He's no match for me. Matter of fact, the one using him is also no match for me. He knows I'm a Cosmos vampire. He's using Ronny as a shield. It would just be better if he spoke his mind a little openly."

Just then a vampire jumps in front of Ronny and says, "Ronny, you can back off for a while (Ronny slowly takes steps back). Hello, Ellis. Let me introduce myself. I'm Jared. Sophia's mate."

"Sophia-mate (the moment Ellis removes his hand, Jane and the boys realize it's her who betrayed him), what do you want? "

"Obviously, revenge. Because of you she got banished from the clan. She and her brother were hunted down like animals. If my clan had not taken them in, they'd be dead."

Taking a deep sigh Ellis says, "What did you expect when she betrays the next in line so her brother could rule and her brother who gave me an open challenge saying 'if I'm my father's son then prove it'. How am I to back up from such a challenge and what chance does a common vampire have against me - a Cosmos vampire. He had to fall."
