Ellis Enters The Underworld

Suddenly Dorothy gets up and says "Boys, why waste today for an unknown tomorrow. Come on it's almost dinner time and I haven't even made anything yet. Jane, come-on dear let's get some food ready for the boys. "

Dorothy and Jane go towards the kitchen.

The room is still intense so Denver decides to break the air up and says "Ellis, if you're worried about Jane, don't. We're all here for her. Though me and Joel don't have super powers, we promise to save her the best way we can."

"Denver, with you all around I have no worries for Jane. I know you all will save her if I'm not here. But at the present what I'm thinking or rather worried about is, what's the connection between Lilian and David? Was Cerberus in reality here or with my aunts? We were seeing a mirage or my aunts? It doesn't make any sense. And, Edward, why did you say David seemed different? "

Edward replies "Ellis, for some odd reason he was too formal. We've known each other before he was chosen as the Grand Elder. And, the original Grand Elders knew I had taken you and have kept you safe, then when they gave the duty to the next three David included, they must have told them about you as it's a very grave and important matter. Why did he sound like he knew only today? And, as I said, underworld vampires despise werewolves and Vamp-wolves, therefore the Grand Elders would be the last to join hands with werewolves and even so, why? (getting up) If they are planning to overtake your place, they are going to be very sorry.``

Ellis gets up and says "OK, then Luke, I have a favor to ask (Luke says 'yes'). Till I come back I want you, Sam, Fallon and Nathan to stay here. Patrick and Clive are also here. Leonardo and the boys will go with me. Since they are my bodyguard force, they should have no problems entering."

"Entering? Where? Ellis, what's in your mind?" asks Denver worried

"Underworld. It's time I paid a visit and check out myself what's this David issue."

"No way. You're doing nothing as such. Just wait and let us think of something. We'll soon find out why? What?" says Clive

Edward says "Clive, boys I can understand your worry, but Ellis is the ruler of the three dimensions so, the underworld is actually home for Ellis. So, you shouldn't worry. And, once he becomes the official ruler, he will often go and see matters himself. Leonardo and the boys are with him. As they are his chosen bodyguard force,they won't face any obstacles."

And so Ellis, Leonardo and the celestial boys take leave for cosmic land.

As they enter the gates, Osmond comes flying over to meet Ellis. Lucifer also comes and hugs Ellis and says, "Ellis, it's so nice to see you. Come, let's go inside and have a nice cup of tea. The last time you came, we barely got any chance to talk. Leonardo, boys how are you all? Hopefully all of you have adjusted there."

Seeing Lucifer is not himself Ellis says "Lucifer, what's the matter. You're not yourself."

"What, now why would that be? Of course I'm myself. What made you say that?" says Lucifer

"Lucifer, you're my uncle. I might not have grown up around you but our blood is one. I can sense it, why are you so tense? You know no being or power is bigger than me, so why worry. If you're in trouble or my aunts, tell me one time and it'll be solved." says Ellis

Lucifer is quiet for a while then asks, "So, Ellis, what brings you here?"

Seeing Lucifer is not telling him anything Ellis says, "I'm going to go to the underworld ('What?? Why? Are you mad Ellis? Do you know your value for us? We are willing to die for you and you are throwing your life away. How can you do this Ellis? Do we not matter to you? Here we are waiting when you'll live with us and you're saying you're leaving us.' says Lucifer). [a little confused] Leaving you, when did I say that, matter of fact who told that (Ellis has a hunch someone has told Lucifer Ellis is going to stay in the underworld) I intend to stay in the underworld?"

Realizing he's picked the curtain from his worries Lucifer says "Selene came and told that they have spoken to you and you've agreed to come back to the underworld and …"

"There's no such thing happening in the next thousands of years. Uncle, I myself have barely met you and my aunts. You're my family and I'm never leaving you guys. And I have a family back home. Edward, Dorothy, my parents. Joel, Denver and Clive, my brothers. Luke, the boys, Leonardo and the boys, Patrick, Osmond. They're all my friends and I'm never leaving you guys. Though that means Edward was right, they are planning to either get me to come and stay in the underworld or perhaps overtake the rule. Looks like I have to go there."

Worried Lucifer says "Ellis, please…"

"Lucifer, I'm the born ruler, the underworld belongs to me. It's time to put the Grand Elders in their place. Oh, Lucifer, do you know anything about Cerberus …" Lucifer stops Ellis saying "Cerberus? Why are you asking about him?"

Ellis replies saying "There's a vamp-wolf who thinks she can take Jane's place, brought Cerberus to attack Jane. But Cerberus recognised Jane and rather tried to save her. Then David came and apologized saying he won't let that happen again. Then I told Leonardo to check on my aunts, and he says Cerberus never left the gates."

"Ellis, Cerberus can never leave the underworld gates. He'll die the moment he goes far from the gates. He's been created for that purpose. He can't survive away from the gates. It's impossible. I think someone or some being created a mirage to hoax you, could that vamp-wolf be capable of this?" says Lucifer

"Well, I'm not going to underestimate that wolf. She is cunning, but still I have a feeling something or some other being is behind all of this. That's it, I'm going there."

Looking gravely Lucifer says "So, you're not changing your mind ('Nope' says Ellis). OK, then let me get some of the royal army vampires to go with you. You go straight to your aunts, from there, plan and go ahead. Leonardo, boys, I'm letting Ellis go but he's your responsibility. Don't let any harm come near him."

Leonardo says "Lucifer, rest assured. Till we met Ellis, he was just a ruler we were to look after, but over these days, Ellis has become a part of us. As long as we're alive, we won't let anything happen to him."

Lucifer summons four army vampires and tells them to go with Ellis to the underworld. Seeing it's their ruler, the vampires bow down and one says "Thank you Lucifer, for considering us worthy of protecting Sire. We promise to take care and protect Sire."

"I'll send a message to your aunts so they'll be ready to receive you." says Lucifer "Ellis, dear please take care of yourself. You're the reason we're alive."

Lucifer kisses Ellis on his forehead and gives the signal to go.

As Ellis takes leave, he doesn't feel right. For some odd reason he feels like he shouldn't leave Lucifer alone, but why?

Ellis and everyone reach the gates, but this time the gates close completely.

Seeing this Ellis looks around and sees a path next to the gate wall and asks "Is the path to the underworld inside the cosmic land?"

One army vampire replies saying "Sire, this path opens only when the cosmic ruler wants to go to the underworld. When you reach there, everyone will know you're the cosmic ruler."

"So, I can't go quietly?" asks Ellis

The vampires lower their heads and one says, "Sire, the rulers coming is always an official matter so…"

Taking a deep breath Ellis says "OK then let's go. Underworld, here I come."

The path looked like it was never ending but finally that stopped in front of a huge gate. One vampire steps forward and removes a hammer hanging on the wall and bangs it on the wall next to the gate. Suddenly rumbling can be heard and the gates begin to open. Then he steps back and says "Boys, get in front of Sire, once we clear the front is safe, Leonardo you can confirm on your side. You are the bodyguard force leader so it's understandable. Once confirmed, Sire can enter."

The army vampires step forward and after a while come back and signal Leonardo. Then Leonardo takes Chris and Gaby to check and comes back then Leonardo and the boys circle around Ellis and escort him into the underworld.

As Ellis enters, it's as he expected. A dark land full of high mountains, dark-red clouds like they are filled with blood. Smoke flowing from volcano tops. Lava flowing in place of water.

As Ellis comes to the edge of the gate's cliff, he sees thousands of vampires and other beings. All bowing down to him praising the ruler has come, hailing for his eternal rule.

As Ellis steps forward the Grand Elders come and greet him.

Ellis whispers to Leonardo "Where are my aunts?"

Leonardo looks towards the vampires so one of them says, "Sire, they should have been here before the gates opened, but I don't see them anywhere."

Just then the howling of a dog can be heard. Everyone looks above and it's Cerberus.

One vampire says "Sire, he's not the gate Cerberus. There are a hundred of them guarding the underworld. He has sent a message to your aunts, you've entered the underworld via the cosmic ruler path. They will be here soon."

And just as David is about to come closer to Ellis, Viola comes and says "David, what's the hurry? Let us meet our nephew first."

Both Viola and Lona come forward and hug Ellis like tomorrow is never coming.

Ellis also hugs them and tries to read their minds. What he sees, shocks him. He sees David threatening his aunts and uncle if they don't bring Ellis here, but what are they scared of? Then he takes one of his aunt Lona's hand and tries to read, that's when he sees some gate barrier is being broken and he hears his aunt Viola say "Lord, forgive us for we haven't fulfilled our duty. Please keep your blessed hand on our child's head."

Viola realizes Ellis has seen what they are trying to hide so she tries to cover up saying "Ellis, Cerberus being taken like that, is a grave matter. We are truly sorry…"

"Aunt, I'd prefer dying than to have you apologize to me. Which gate is being attacked and by who?"

Seeing the stern look on Ellis's face Viola says "The door to heaven in the castle. The Grand Elders want you to rule from here and never leave or they be given access to the heavens door. So, they can take the place of the god's in heaven. Lucifer and we can never let any harm upon you so we dare not let you stay here, as for the gates, we tried but The Grand Elders defeated Lucifer and entered the castle. Their vampires are trying to break the royal seal to enter this very moment. That's why they agreed to help a vamp-wolf by giving her a mirage of Cerberus so you would come here. And, now leave and never come back to cosmic land or the underworld. As long as we are alive they won't enter the heavens. Leave, my child leave. Leonardo take him back home and take care of him for us. Hopefully you can forgive us."

With that Viola said Lona push Ellis back inside the gate and Lona says "Leonardo, go with the boys and take care of our son. Leave before the door closes."
