The Eccentric Witch

There was amusement written on the King's face as he raised his brow at the chamberlain.

'Forgive me for lying, my King,' Reina was quick to relay her apology to the man whose eyes were on her through the mental communication that he often used to pass on instructions to her.

This could be the first time she had initiated a connection with him but her actions were so effortless that even she had not noticed what she had just done subconsciously.

The King, on the other hand, shrugged in response to what he just heard, revealing that he did not mind Rein's false words.

He could understand why the aide was trying to cover it up.

Since it was a smart move to make, considering that two ladies in this room had ill intentions towards him, the King did not bother exposing Rein's lies.

While this silent exchange was taking place between the Master and his aide, someone spoke up to break the moment of silence that persisted after Rein had spoken.
