Inside the palace drifting in the [Dimensional Chaos] Korva still sat on the throne while Arthur was sprawled on the ground not far away, covered in mud and blood.
"How long is he going to sleep?" Korva smelled the air and frowned. "He's making the entire room smell." He got off the throne and left.
Time seemed to fly as a couple days passed quickly with no movement inside the throne room until today.
Arthur, who looked lifeless on the ground covered in dry blood and mud, abruptly opened his eyes and fiercely sat up straight, causing the dry blood and mud to make a cracking sound.
[So that's it…] While Arthur was thinking about what he just experienced, his nose twitched and his face turned green.
"You're finally awake!" Korva's voice echoed inside the throne room but he didn't show up, it was just his voice.
Being the owner of the palace, Korva can sense anything inside it with just a thought.
"Augh hg…" Arthur leaned to his side and vomited some stomach acid with tears in his eyes.
If it wasn't for Korva to send some energy into Arthur's body, he would have died from starvation and dehydration by now, after not eating for at least a week.
"That bad, huh?" Korva's laughing echoed again inside the palace. "You'd better take a shower before we talk further."
"You… Auhah…" Arthur's face flashed from green to gray, as he couldn't stop spitting out stomach acid every time he smelt the deadly stench of his body.
"If you look behind you, there is a door that leads to a hallway. Go to the first room on your left." Korva ignored Arthur and continued with a chuckle. "I've already prepared extra-extra-extra strong soap and shampoo for you inside."
Arthur couldn't stand it anymore and followed Korva's directions to take a shower.
Half-way through the shower, Arthur was franticly washing his body when he noticed that his skin was white and softer than before, but stopped thinking about it when he smelt himself again and continued to scrub his body.
Two hours later, Arthur opened the glass shower door and walked out, surrounded by steam.
Arthur picked up a towel on the counter and dried his body while looking at a black robe similar to Korva's. [I guess this was placed here for me?]
Before putting on the black robe, Arthur glanced at himself in the mirror and found that his entire person looked different.
The once golden blond-hair turned silver white. His eyes were like small cyan-blue oceans, deep and mysterious. Jade-white skin that can make any women jealous and a face that was a perfect mixture of soft and sharp like a piece of art. The muscles in his body reduced down, giving him a perfect set of six-pack abs while not looking like a bodybuilder.
After looking at himself in the mirror for a second, Arthur put on the black robe.
Arthur looked at himself again in the mirror and nodded with a confident smile on his face. "I gotta say wearing a black robe looks awesome, almost like a villain in a book."
While Arthur was admiring himself for a second, Korva's voice echoed inside the bathroom. "How long are you going to make me wait? Stop staring at yourself in the mirror and return to the throne room."
Arthur blushed and immediately left the bathroom.
…
In the throne room, Korva was sitting on the throne with his head resting on his hand when Arthur entered.
The first thing Arthur did after entering was cautiously smell the air, but was surprised that the air smelled fresh.
"You don't have to worry…" Korva waved his free hand and explained with disgust on his face. "I have already cleaned up the stains you left."
Arthur's face turned gray and his left eye twitched. [He's acting like I did it on purpose…]
"Enough about that." Korva sat up straight on the throne and looked at Arthur with interest. "Lets talk about your abilities first."
"Well…" Arthur took a second to sort out his thoughts. "Well, before arriving at this palace, I didnt know I had abilities yet."
"Really?" Korva's eyes flashed with an even stronger interest.
"Yeah…" Arthur nodded and explained everything that happened in his coma, omitting anything to do with his mother and [Chaos Gate].
"I understand." Korva nodded and analyzed. "Where you were was the origin of your soul and those energies were the origin of your abilities."
"I see…" Arthur nodded and continued to explain. "After waking up, I leaned what abilities I have." he paused then continued. "The first ability is passive and after understanding its origin I called it [Golden Affinity]"
[Golden Affinity?] Korva looked at Arthur in confusion. "What does it do?"
"It grants me with a boost in affinity with everyone I meet." Arthur thought about it and explained. "If everyone has an affection level of 0 when they first meet, then mine would be 50 or something like that."
"Golden Affinity? What a wonderful ability." Korva nodded with a sneer. "Maybe if you meet a monster you can't kill, it will fall in love with you and force you to stay with it forever."
Arthur cringed for a second, but determined that it was impossible to happen.
"The second ability is also a passive and I call it [Flawless Physiology]" Arthur paused and looked around for a second then went over and picked up a golden short sword off the ground. "The [Flawless Physiology] is an ability that constantly fixes any flaw in or on my body, while constantly trying to make my body flawless." He used the blade to cut his finger, causing it to bleed for a second before repairing on its own. "It also can fuse and stabilize any energy in my body." He looked at his healed finger with a smile and threw the short sword back into the pile of treasure.
[Like I thought…] Korva closed his eyes and silently decided something before opening them again. "It's really an unbelievable ability."
