Chapter 17 You again?
After Yukikaze was a bit further away she changed direction to hunt for even more food. She wanted to go back into her castle to organize everything a bit more and to get her new miners to start working and gaining resources while she is gone.
After a while of running through the forest she found three Brown Deer`s. She didn`t know it but those were the three that ran away from here before. Yukikaze sneaked up on one and decided to go with the same strategy as last time which ended with her skill (Claw Lv.4) to level up to (Claw Lv.5) .
The other tow Brown Deer`s ran away like last time but this time they wouldn`t stop out of fear to be attacked again. Yukikaze put the dead Deer next to the other in her (system inventory) after removing the beast core.
` Great I only need one more and than I can evolve. And now I have explored everything except the center of the forest. I have now 6 days worth of food so I am not in need of food right now which allows me to go back down into the caves to organize my new workforce. Afterwards I can come back here. Maybe I am then even stronger because I found something new while I am back in the caves. Who knows? `
In the end Yukikaze decided to go back into the caves first because her miners could already mine resources while she is still exploring the center of the forest. Right now her Miners are just in her inventory doing nothing productive.
So she started the really long and annoying walk to the entrance of the cave with the waterfall, through the tunnels, over both bridges, around the destroyed village ruins and then finally entering the castle. Yukikaze was getting annoyed since walking that long way is exhausting and time consuming. Maybe there is a way to teleport here or even better. Transport this place to the surface.
When she arrived at the front gate there were two skeleton guards at the front gate which saluted her when she walked through it. When she found the skeleton butler Albert she showed him a map of the mines an put a piece of Iron on the mine which contained the Iron ore. She did the same with the copper ,tin ,gold and the coal.
When she only put the Iron on it Albert didn`t understand what exactly she meant but after she put the other materials on different positions on the map of the mines he quickly understand.
But Albert didn`t know what the fox wanted him to do about it since they didn`t had anyone to mine the resources.
" But we don`t have any miner to mine all these resources. I know they are important for you but with no miners we can`t go get them. " Albert thought this was the end of this but to his surprise the fox pointed at the courtyard of the castle. Albert looked at it but couldn`t see anything out of place.
Yukikaze opened her system inventory and summoned all ten miners into the courtyard. For everyone else it looked like 10 skeletons with pickaxes just appeared out of nowhere but the Butler Albert knew that the black fox next to him had something to do with it. Albert thought that the fox could someone more skeletons.
" Interesting that would definitely help but we would need to transport the ore here to use it. We could use carriages. We have enough would in storage to build three carriages. But each of these would need a skeleton horse to pull it. There are a lot further north. We could send some soldiers to tame three while those miners build three carriages. Then we would be able to have a steady supply of materials. Do you wish to do that? "
Yukikaze nodded her head allowing it to happen. After Albert left to carry out the orders given Yukikaze was quiet happy with Albert.
` He will make a very good Advisor. Soon we will have enough resources to field entire army's and conquer the world. Well maybe not that much yet considering I only have 10 miners but we will get there eventually. `
Yukikaze went inside her bedroom within the castle and decide to sleep since it should be night time outside right now.
The next morning Yukikaze woke up ate a bit of one of the deer`s completely ignoring the fact that one of them had a child that is now in the cruel outside world completely alone.
To Yukikazes surprise was the deer surprisingly delicious. She wasn`t able to eat the entire deer only one third which should be enough to get here through the entire day.
On her way to the front gate she saw the miners working on three different carriages. Yukikaze also noticed that a few guards were missing who were probably right now getting skeleton horses.
` As soon as one of those Skeleton horses is here I have to use (Appraisal Lv.3) on it. `
Yukikaze left her castle behind and walked through the empty cave. She walked around the village and crossed the two stone bridges. When she was by the Stone bridges she already made plans in her head for defenses at these bottlenecks since they can be defended by only a few skeleton soldiers.
She continued her way through the tunnels and after a while could already faintly hear the waterfall next to the cave entrance.
Yukikaze decided to drink a bit of the water and then went on her way towards the center of the forest. The last place that she hasn`t explored yet.
` I hope I can get another Beast core. Then I can evolve into whatever I evolve into. `
As soon as she reached the center she became vigilant to her surroundings. Yukikaze was able to sense something strong nearby. It felt very familiar but Yukikaze can`t find out what exactly about it s so familiar.
Yukikaze entered a grass field that looked like a perfect circle in the middle of the forest. Yukikaze walked towards the center of the grass field and what she saw made her exited.
In front of her staring right at her was the Fire Lion that nearly killed her about a week ago. But now Yukikaze was much stronger and experienced than before.
Yukikaze also got a new Quest by her system.

Objective: Kill the Fire Lion

+ 30 in every stat
+ 500 Knowledge coins
` Damn these rewards are really good. `
The Fire Lion now ran towards Yukikaze to attack her while she prepared herself for the upcoming fight.
