Chapter 3

While William and Agatha left the garage, Sapphire got out of the car and slammed the door, leaving the garage. "Camp counselor? Pathetic." Scoffed Helena as she followed Sapphire inside, sighing in frustration.

As Sapphire and Helena walk in the living room, they see William and Agatha on the laptop working on an application. Sapphire headed to the bedroom while Helena sat on the couch and turned the TV on.

"Now you have to write your reason on why you want this job and we should be done from here." Said William as he stood up. "Thanks for the help, Dad." said Agatha as she smiled a little.

"When you finish let me know, I have a special surprise for you and Helena." He said as he went upstairs.

As Agatha typed up her reasonings on the computer, "Best for you to quit now before you regret it. You're going to have the worst summer ever." Helena blurted out. Agatha ignored Helena and continued on typing before clicking 'Submit'.

Application submitted

"I'm finished with the application Dad!" She shouted as she closed her laptop. William walked in the living room with his hands behind his back as Sapphire followed William with a smile on her face. "We wanted to say how proud we are that you're going to high school so..." Sapphire said as she waited for William, "We thought things through and we came to the decision that you two should have this." He said as he revealed two T-phones in his hands.

Helena was the first to freak out and reach for the phone "This is so cool. Thanks guys! Oh man, I should've asked my friends for their numbers." She said as she turned on the phone. "We can give you their phone numbers or you can ask them yourself." Said Sapphire while William handed Agatha her phone. "Because we're going to throw a pizza party here." William said as he chuckled.

Helena gasped and hugged William and her mother "Thank you Thank you Thank you! You guys are the best!" She cheered. William and Sapphire smiled as they embraced Helena.

"Yeah... um... You guys have fun at the whole pizza party thing. I have some important things to do." Said Agatha as she grabbed her laptop and headed for the stairs, "Huh? Is there something wrong, Agatha? Not feeling well?" Asked Sapphire as she looked up at her. "I'm fine. I don't want to talk about it here..." She answered as she took a couple of steps upstairs.

"Oh wait, we still have to talk about that thing your principal gave you." Said William as Agatha froze in place. "What thing?" Asked Sapphire, looking up at William. William smiled down at Sapphire as he answered, "Agatha received a packet from the principal."

"So Agatha, what was-"He said as he looked in Agatha's direction to see that she was gone, "What am I going to do with her?" William mumbled as he sighed. Sapphire smirked before leaning up against William's arm with worried eyes, "What should we do now? Do we move the party somewhere else?" she asked. "I want Agatha to get involved in more family activities, she needs to connect more..." he explained as he moved away from Sapphire, "I should check up on her." He said as Sapphire stopped him. "I'll go check up on her, it's about time for us to have a little girl talk." Sapphire said sweetly, "You're right. Good luck honey." Said William as Sapphire went upstairs.

Agatha sat in front of her laptop and scrolled through pictures as she smiled. 'So this is the school I'm supposed to attend huh? It changed over the years. Did they... added a pride flag? That's amazing! Good for them.' She thought as she giggled to herself.

Knock Knock Knock

"Agatha... you okay in there sweetie?"

"I'm fine..." Agatha replied.

Sapphire went inside and looked at Agatha "Did something happen between you and the principal?" She asked. Agatha sighed "Nothing happened. She just gave me something... I would rather talk about it with my dad." She said as she closed her laptop, she then took the packet and left the room. Sapphire stood there watching as Agatha left, she then looked at Agatha's laptop before leaving the room.

As William was hanging up the phone, Agatha went downstairs and gave the packet to her father, "Here" she said as she held up the packet to him with a smile. William grabbed the packet and opened it, he then took out the booklet and the letter. He began to read the letter and with a gasp he embraced Agatha, "I'm so proud of you!" He exclaimed loudly. "Thank you, Dad" Agatha said as William let go of her and read again.

Sapphire rushed in "What's wrong honey? I heard you scream." She asked worriedly, "Our little girl got accepted to Silver Meadow Ridge Academy. Isn't that amazing?" Said William as he grinned. Sapphire went silent before forcing a smile "That's wonderful dear!" She said, making her way to hug Agatha. Sapphire and Agatha hugged for a bit before letting go, Helena leaned against the kitchen door frame "What's with all the screaming about?" She asked.

"Your sister got accepted to the talented academy." Sapphire said smiling at Helena, Helena started to laugh "That's a funny joke. Now come on what's really going on?" She asked again. William went and gave Helena the letter, "Here read it yourself. She got accepted." Helena took the letter and started to read it.

Ding Dong

"That must be the guests. I'll go get it." William said as he left the kitchen. "Oh you already invited people over? But we barely had time to get things to prepare." Sapphire said as she followed behind him.

"Yeah, I did. I just got off the phone with the pizza place a few minutes ago. They'll be here in a few minutes" William said from a distance.

With Helena and Agatha alone in the same room, Helena chuckled to herself "This can't be real... You photoshopped this... That's it! You photoshopped it, there's no way a loser, nobody like you can get into a school like this without a talented somebody like me!" she said as she crumpled up the paper and threw it in the trash bin, she got into Agatha's face before shoving her to the ground "Don't think just because you got into the academy makes you better than me. You just got lucky." She said as she left the kitchen.

"I'm going to my friend's house, Mom. Don't wait up." Helena said from a distance.

"Oh okay, Helena. Just be home before ten o' clock." Sapphire replied, "W-Wait, what about-" William said.
