9. Your Exes Were Everywhere

"I had never had a boy friend and went on dates, so let say we are dating like youg couples are. And you are my first boy friend". Such confession cooled down a heart that was in rage.

Even though he hated his grandfather but he was mostly right. His wife had to go back for a while. And this Wenceslas family was ready to fight back all their nemesis. Leaving her with her own family was good for her safety. She refused to be locked down for her own goodness anyway.

It was the hardest test for the couple to be through, a path that could end unexpectedly, but for him, Aruna would be back to his life, either voluntarily or by force. He would do his best.

Anything that had fallen in to his hands would never slip off.

The park lying on the back side of the hospital was liked most by patients who wanted to breathe in fresh air. On a bench of the park, a beautiful girl was sitting. Her eyes were gazing the green grass but they were lifeless.

She had been unresponsive to any talks for more than a week.

"Syakita…". A greeting from man who was trying to communicate with her sounded soft. She glanced at him a second then her eyes turned to another direction.

"What had happened to you?"

"Syakita has dead. Don't pretend to be nice to her". She finally replied. He was the man she had been waiting to come, honestly.

He hugged her from the side silently: "I'm sorry… I didn't know you would have been devastated like this".

"What story brought you here?"

"You have forgotten my name"

"Your name?"

"Yes,… my last name. it is Wenzel. Even though I and Gibran have different mothers, he is my big brother. That is why I chose to go"

"Why didn't you tell me from the beginning, Gesang?" she turned around and was willing to look at him, a man named Gesang.

"What was the point? We wouldn't be able keep our relationship, anyway. They were looking at each other. Both were messy.

"At least I would know the reasons, instead of leaving me just like hell without any clues why"

"Are you feeling better now?" She nodded giving him impressions she could gain her strengths again.

"What are we going to do next?" She held her cries and put Gesang's hand in hers. She was afraid he would go again.

"My brother has promised to find ways for us. Yeah, Gibran is not bad. It's just I feel I have been his burden all this time"

Gesang told her superficial issues. He did not tell her the whole things, about the barters he had made with Gibran before meeting Syakita.

Gibran would try to find ways to make Gesang stay with Syakita. That girl had no hopes. She tried to end her life several times and his parents did not care about her.

On the other side, Gobran wanted Gesang to go back home to support him like he used to before their relationship got bad.

Gesang could not refuse that request or Gibran would disclose his dark sides, where and how he lived so far, in the most forbidden place. Their relative who was also their nemesis was the Wenceslas. The brave man ever helped his brother to get information about the blue oceans marriage. He was an intruder sent to Wenceslas to pretend to support them.

But he was really angry and felt betrayed when his father took his girl friend for his brother's future wife. The reason were his brother was the main heir and the girl named Syakita was the youngest child of Baskoro family with her tantalizing stocks at her hands.

That girl got her shares from her grandmother. It was such huge inheritance that even her father wanted it for expanding his business. At least it was to build up cooperation between Baskoro and tarantula group.

All dirty and crazy ways looked natural for those of top positions.

They forgot that their children had rights to be happy. They ignored the pain they caused. Even the pain Syakita had suffered.

"I don't care he is good or bad. I don't want to marry him"

Gesang smiled. She had talked much today. Her face was sullen to show her dislike.

Which is more bitter

When we know we are falling in love

But the reality doesn't allow us to occupy the same room

They call it a test of love

Too bad, for me it is not only a test, it is a torture

I leave you in the house they say it is safe for you

No smile, only a pair of eyes trying to send messages 'relax, we will be alright'

Damn! My heart doesn't say so

Because when I am in a different place

I find you leave traces everywhere

The place where we used to share laughter now turns to be a torturing room

So bad that I have a thought if only I have never had love

There is a heart breathing painfully

Or eyes to get sore seeing a chair you used to sit on

Because the fragrance of your things choke me

And my ears are buzzing as if hearing you to call me

What kind of virus has infected me that made my brain stopped working

To get used be alone. But when you have had filled up my all spatial of life, it is impossible

Even the smallest space in the smallest particle of my cell has been filled up completely by you

My brain wanders to find a solution of every problem

But it goes blocked when I think about you

Do I need to chain you once more? But how is it to do it?

What tricks can I use?

"Hey stupid, why didn't you work?" Hendra called Surya. Hearsay, he was looking for a job at another place.

"I was being kind to you yesterday by being an insane man to get away from your grandfather as you suggested. My duty has been accomplished to be a mad man. I don't want to do that again. Sorry, but I'm looking for another job now" his voice was so confident. Surya forgot that he had been rejected in three different places. it was Hendra who did it. Hendra needed him to work for him. If it was necessary Surya could replace him as the CEO when he was the director president.

"Fine. Try to get a better job. Wish you luck.and don't forget, your friend still opens the opportunity for you. You can come back when you fail to get one" that voice of him was typical, relax but it had different meaning.

"I…. honestly I'm suspicious to you but I will stay positive"

"Sure, whatever you decide". He chuckled. And it disturbed Surya.
