46. Out of Oxygen

Knock knock knock.

They were startled for a second.

"Come in." Surya answered.

A second later, a maid opened the door and bowed, then looked at them in turn before she spoke to Hendra, "Sir, lady Aruna is here."

Hendra actually didn't want to pay any mind to the maid and opted to stare at the view out of the window, but her words caught his ears.

He turned to the maid and his blue eyes stared right at her, "Please repeat what you just said."

"Your wife … Lady Aruna is here." Once again she reported the message.

"Here in this house?" Unconvinced, he asked again. That was impossible to happen.

"Yes, Sir. She is waiting outside. She wants to meet you, Sir."

In a mere second, he dashed out of his room. It was like a dream that was too good to be true.

The car that drove straight to the main house came to a stop as the lady requested.
