90. Bitter

"Then, what? You come here because you're still hoping for my love?"

_Yes, you might be right, Aruna_

Damar was silent at the brutal truth she spat at him.

"Don't be naïve, Damar. I don't need your sympathy just because I'm sad. And you should have known not to be naïve with your feelings for me."

Damar frowned as she spoke her firm harsh words. It meant that Aruna actually wanted to be alone. The man who suffered in his unrequited love understood her.

Aruna flashed a faint smile to Damar's new family.

They knew she would go back to Jakarta by herself, but Damar would stay the night with them. They were relieved. Amar and Lia wanted to get to know their long lost son as parents. While the two girls would be on cloud nine to get acquainted with their idol who turned to be their brother. It was eerily similar to many plot stories in novels or fanfiction all fangirls consumed.

"Be careful," Damar said at last.
