137. Air on G String Piano

The sound of a piano echoed in the house, lulling the girl who lately felt as if she was being pampered. Even her journey to sleep was made special with the solemn notes floating from the man's fingers that danced on the black and white floor. The melody he played made even the Millennials or Gen Y people cry like the pre-Baby Boomers being swept away by Chairil Anwar the Wild Animal.

Danu Umar, was a name widely known by the people. On the other hand, Damar was a name the rosy hued girl gifted him. It was a name he let his close friends call him with. Even his own mother called him Uda Danu. So, every time someone called him Damar, it reminded him of the girl who left for another man. His heart hurt, like there was a scratch there – or maybe a thousand more.

Damar played his piano, eyes locked on the mature girl he dared to call a seductive woman in his head only.
