139. Grey Suit

"Hah!" Damar hated his impromptu study of Hendra's metaphorical symphony.

.

.

When the man Aruna love was descending from the stairs with a forlorn face, Damar stopped him.

"I said you don't have to," Hendra repeated before Damar could open his mouth.

"The one who can decide to reveal this fact is me," Damar argued.

"Do I have to say it again? I don't need your help!" his voice raised, fists balled by his side.

"I have a right to be the witness and give my statement. The consequence that will happen is mine. You can't stop people from speaking up," the artist reasoned.

"This is my own divorce, my own business, and my own responsibility. No one can speak up as they like," still, another refusal from Hendra.

"We'll see tomorrow then. I will tell the whole thing, so people will know and understand the real truth," Damar said in finality, he already made up his mind.
