148. Elegy

He had been out of breath for a long time.

.

For the one who smother the blue day had gone,

Gone too far and too long.

Until the word 'missing' was not enough to describe the yearn.

It aches so much more than he could ever imagined.

.

It was a sharp, piercing elegy,

A breaching devastation, annihilating all serenity in the universe.

Hurting as the time scratched and stretched, dragging him through the ridges of it all.

The welts on their hearts felt like screaming.

.

What kind of longing was this?

The second they met again, he burst in happiness.

.

.

"Don't go again!" he asked, "When you leave for the second time, you'll make me lose my head."

"I–"

"Let me speak," he cut, and didn't want to listen this time. He wanted to be heard."I don't just love you. I need you. Like a fish out of water, and every creature that needs air. I need you. if you leave, I'll die."
