Level 1

[Welcome to the World of Gifts & Dungeon]

Those words glittered in Aero's eyes. For his entire life he had dreamed of becoming an adventurer and here he was, being welcomed into their rank.

""Congratulations Aero!"" the others congratulate him while Aero eyed his new screen.

His screen now had more options than it had before. No doubt because he had connected with the System and updated his own.

[Name: Aero Vermilion]

[Level 1]

[Title: none]

[Quest]

[Mission]

[Exp: 0]

[World's]

This was the main menu. Each of these options will open to many more options that were hidden beneath them. For example, if Aero opens his name option, a new screen will appear with his personal information in it.

[Name: Aero Vermilion]

[Age: 13]

[Gender: Male]

[Race: Human]

Not much but those information were enough for someone to have a basic understanding of his identity.

The Level menu will open the list of his adventurer achievements.

[Level 1]

[Defeat: 0]

[Kill: 0]

[Dungeon exploration: none]

[Achievement: none]

'Finally, I'm a Level 1 adventurer!'

If he went further into the Level 1 option he would discover his current status.

[Level 1: Aero Vermilion(no title)]

[Class: None]

[Skills]

[Mana: D1]

[Luck: D1]

[Unfairness: B1]

'My own status! This is what adventurers are all about!' he stared at the screen for quite some seconds.

Aero quickly came back to his senses. With the newly updated personal system, the quests were further divided into two categories. The Main Quest and the Sub-Quest.

Aero opened his Quest menu to see if there was anything new.

[Main Quest]

[1. Explored the 1st world, Amazon]

[Sub-Quest]

[1. Recover fully]

[2. Enrolled into the Academy]

"Ohh!" Aero exclaimed.

His earlier quest that was unreadable had transformed into a few, he himself was excited to rush out complete them. Of course one of them was the Main Quest. The other one that had his attention was the second Sub-Quest; Enrolled into the Academy.

"What's the Academy?" Aero asked to no one in particular.

"That must have been your Sub-Quest. All of us got that quest as soon as we were baptised. Apparently, all Royal are expected to enrol there as a student. The Academy's full name is Memoria Academy. And just from the name, you could guess the Academy's founder."

Bell answered Aero's question with a proud tone in her tone. How could she not be? Her little Aero had finally taken his first step towards adulthood.

"Lady Memoria? It seems like she possessed most of the main real estate here…" Aero commented.

"..."

The others only offered their silence. In Aero's eyes they come off as those who did not want to pursue this topic of Lady Memoria.

And a thought occurred to Aero and Clem who weren't a part of these silent people.

'Not they too!'

Now it had become obvious that all of them were in on the secret. The similarities that they shared between them was that all of them were high level adventurers.

'I'll uncover the truth and join their secret club! Just watch me!' Clem declared in his heart.

Aero on the other hand thought differently from Clem. He observed that all of the older Royal knew of this secret. So his conclusion was, it was just a matter of time before he knew about it too.

He decided to let that matter off his mind for the time being and Master's skills of changing the topic couldn't come at a better timing.

"Next month the Academy is due to open for this year's session. So you have another two weeks time to prepare for yourself."

"I have to hurry then." Aero thought about his current condition. He was not fit to join the academy. He could but that would bring shame to the Vermilion and Aero himself did not want other people to view him as weak and pitiful.

"Don't worry! That is enough to even cure a person who lost his limbs," Master replied nonchalantly.

Aero eyed Bell for clarification and the latter just nodded in agreement,

"Since you are now baptized, the system will bless you. Your natural recovery rate would speed up noticeably. It is said that this feature is to help the new adventurers so that they could raid the dungeon more often," Bell explained.

"I see…"

"Also, whatever training you do from this point onwards will affect your physique. Let's just say your efforts are being multiplied by the System. So a little bit of light training and you will be ready to enroll in no time," Bell said with gentle eyes.

She was also relieved that Aero's ceremony was without any hiccups. If anything happens during the ceremony, Aero further endeavor could be affected.

Now that Aero had successfully registered, he had received all of the System blessing. She could finally put her mind at ease knowing that her nephew would recover without any complication.

With the issue of his enrollment and his recovery out of the way, Aero decided to explore his new system.

He opened every option available from the main menu. The Title option was self-explanatory. Since Aero did not have even a single title it would only open an empty new screen. The Mission option was also empty. Maybe because he did not have any mission at the moment.

The [Exp] option was also blank.

'Then, how am I supposed to know how much to collect before I could level up?' Aero thought.

Since the system did not have any Exp bar or maximum collectible Exp for a level or any other level up condition whatsoever, the redhead boy wondered what type of measurement the system used to deemed someone worthy of a level up.

'Oh well, I will ask Bell later about this…'

The only option left unexplored was the World's option.

This was a privilege he did not have before his baptism. Now he had his own World's option.

The World's option. As its name suggests this option belonged to the World. The World includes all of the conquered worlds including the base world, Esteria.

All in all, we had six worlds that are included under the World's. So everything that happened in each of these worlds was available under the World's option.

The World's option had a variety of uses. For example, collecting news and information about a World someone fancies. Those information were provided by real people though, so uninhabited worlds like Tempest, Aero's homeworld, seldom had any news.

In other words, if there is much news about said world, that means that it was popular enough to attract citizens to live in it.

There were also options to watch videos of the other worlds, listen to music and much more. In short, this option was opened to society so that we can connect with each other.

By society, to society, for society. It is for people's own use.

Aero knew a little about this because he remembered that his father sometimes let him and his siblings use it when they were bored. Sometimes they would roll around in the living room, reading news or watching any interesting feed from the World's. His youngest siblings, the twin, would always fight for the right to decide which world's feed they wanted to see.

'I wonder how everyone's doing?'

Little did he know that Bell and her team had already inspected his home. Bell decided that their findings should be kept a secret from the boy at least for the time being.

"..."

Then, it occurred to him. Something that he had just missed. The celebration and congratulations made him. Upon that, he finally achieved his dream. He was now a Level 1 adventurer. All of this happy thing masked the thing he was desperately searching for before.

There was something that had changed in him. The thing that he had taken for granted before.

He could finally remember his family!
