Chapter 12: Making a good impression

He could hear her making up her mind. 'I guess there would be no harm. How long did you say you were here for? Today is out of the question. Could you come for afternoon tea tomorrow? Three-thirty? The children have activities in the morning but by then they've finished and I can relax.'

'Afternoon tea sounds perfect. If you could give me your address I'll see you then.' David wrote 'Davies 3.30' on the hotel stationery as Mrs Davies gave directions. 'Tomorrow at three thirty. I look forward to it.'
