Chapter 29:The Sudden Twist
"Phuaaaa...!" Kal woke up a few hours after he fainted. He found himself laying on the ground and what he first saw where countless window panels hovering in his view.
'What was that thing I saw? I heard Socram said about a dominion or something. That thing was brewing with holy light but it doesn't look like an angel at all. Argh... my mind is still fuzzy from the possession and I felt like I was locked in a deep abyss. Nah, let's not think about it, let's just see what these window panels are.
Kal began to check the window panels and was in a total surprise. He had gain over 12 levels from killing both Socram and the dragon Loan. He gained 2 amazing items and 2 amazing skills from both of them and was rewarded with another 3 levels from the test rewards. He also earned a bunch of other rewards including a special trinket containing the hell element, a skill scroll, an equipment and consumables. He was rewarded with 3 additional skill slots after reaching level 40 and a million gold coins to follow with that. What he was mostly intrigue was the three titles given to him.

You have encountered a holy being and has gain their help. For receiving their grace, you have earned the judgment of the heavens and defeat entities of the dark. You will be completely hostile against entities of the dark.

You will be occasionally given quest as the agent of light and after finishing the quest, you will earn a reward.

"This is simply amazing!" Kal couldn't help but be in awe. As he inspect his power, he was in astonishment as he realized his power was now on par of an S-rank. The soul shard had forcefully been returned to his inventory to repair itself due to the damage it had suffered and as of now, Kal was not wearing any equipment yet he could feel a boiling power inside his body roaring like thunder. He checked his status window to see the improvements and as he saw it, he was exhilarated.

"Crazy! The titles alone definitely improved my status by a wide margin and I still have 150 status points! So the strength skill enhances after it reaches another hundred mark. I wonder what would happen if it reaches a thousand, the damage could probably destroy a continent." Kal admired his prowess a lot. He wanted to check out the other rewards he received but there was something more important he had to do. A few meters in front of him was a hall, the hall looked like a national museum as giant statues were seen in the sides of the hall.
There were about 10 of these giant statues (5 on each side) and all of them looked unique. One looked like a spartan holding a long spear and a shield, another one looked like a great wizard with a the long beard, pointy hat, book and magic staff. There were a lot of these people and each one were exuding a powerful pressure, each pressure was unique and it felt like it could probably crush anyone into chunks of flesh if they were alive.
"..?" While Kal was strolling and admiring the different statues, he saw one peculiar statue on the edge that had its head cut off and all of its body was filled with cracks like it was about to collapse if one would just simply touch it. Unlike the other statues, this one exuded a familiar pressure, although he couldn't guess who's pressure it was, it was undoubtedly familiar yet no matter what he recall, he couldn't point his fingers to it. The statue was a chiseled muscular man and he held in his back was a belt locked with varieties of weapons, from a sword, bow, knife, spear, shield, axe, bat, staff, wand, book. Sickles, knuckles, nunchucks, boomerang and many more, looked like he had all the weapons in the world but what enticed his appearance was the eye he was holding in his hand. Every statue was made with marble but this eye was made of crystal or glass, it wasn't glowing or had been dyed in any color, it just looked greyish and transparent like an empty shell.
"Hmm...let's not think about it and see what's inside." Kal averted his gaze away from the broken statue and proceed to go deeper in the hall. There he saw a gumball machine (The same gumball machine one could find in western countries in the world). Unlike the typical gumball machine, except for gumballs or candies, inside was marbles glowing in different colors, they look similar to trinkets.
"What is this?" Kal was curious at what the gumball machine was and as he looked closely, a window panel appeared in his view.

"What the hell is this shitty thing? A gacha game? I don't really need items even if it's undoubtedly good, if I can acquire a powerful class, then I'll bet on every points I have." Kal didn't hesitate and pressed the mythic icon and input his every single points in it. After that, the randomizer began to shake and glow as a lever appeared on its side.
Clank!
The lever had a clicking noise as Kal pulled it down and the marbles inside spun and shake. The light in the marbles slowly dimmed out as a glowing marble fell from lid of the gumball machine. Kal pulled out the marble which was the same size as his eyeball. It was glowing in a light blue hue and other than the glowing, it didn't look in anyway special.

"Yes." Kal didn't had to think twice knowing he didn't have any options to choose from and immediately agreed. The marble shattered like an egg she'll and a light essence seeped from inside it. This essence then entered into Kal's mana core and he immediately felt the rejuvenating feeling bathing him up like he was taking a bath in a hot spring. He felt younger and stronger and he knew there were changes happening in his body and a window panel appeared in his view.

"What kind of bullsh*t is this!?" Kal couldn't help but swear aloud. He had manage to earn a mythic class yet he didn't know what exactly it was. It didn't even show any short description, and he had to level up his innate talent to level 2 when he also had a struggle just increasing it by some percent. [ANALYSIS] was still 28% and it looked like it's ascension had slowed down sharply and he felt like even if he had read all the knowledge in the world, it still wouldn't be able to reach 100%.
As a wooden shop showed up from thin air, it was showing items covered in mist but Kal was too furious to even bat an eye on it. Still it was useless for Kal to even check it out since all of his points had already been spent.

As the window panel showed up, the hall began to tremble violently. Kal immediately got out and as he arrived at the entrance of the hall, his gaze avert back to the broken statue as he suddenly saw the eye which was then grey and empty now glowing with bluish light as this light went straight to Kal's eyes.

'Wait, does that statue have a connection with [ANALYSIS]?' Kal was boggle by the sudden events but didn't stop his travel to get out of the hall as fast as possible. He continued to make short glances at the statue and the stay had now crumbled either from the constant tremor or after the light had entered Kal's eyes. The other statues didn't do any of the such effects and as he finally leave the hall, the entire hall had disappeared leaving only and empty space in the ground. He was still confused at the situation and he didn't forget his utter disappointment from his newly acquired class.
He soon saw the portal just few meters from him and entered it. The same distorted feeling like he was being ripped in space transpired in Kal's body but unlike the first one, it didn't bother him a bit and as he opened his eyes, he found himself back at the shelter.
"Finally! I'm back! It must've been a week since I've disappeared but I'm back!" Kal was overjoyed as he watch his surroundings. The streets were still as busy as before and as he looked around the buildings he was given a slight confusion.
"Did they change the paintings on the walls last week and I don't remember seeing these buildings before." Kal was confused at the sudden changes but he didn't think about it deeply as although he was refreshed, he was still mentally tired and walked back to his apartment. As he walked down the streets to his home, he was still constantly looking at the surroundings and couldn't believe how much had changed in a single week and as soon as he arrived at the apartment, he was given a sigh of relief as the apartment that had a white and flourished design was still the same as before.
"Let's go to sleep for now and I have to tell Dante and Dontrelle why I had disappeared for a few days." Kal used the identification key he was given and entered his apartment. He showed a question face as he scanned his identification key on the scanner but it kept ringing in as red light that his identification key was being rejected.
'Weird, I'm sure this was my apartment.' Kal kept on scanning his key countless of times when suddenly, the door opened.
"Who are you? What are you doing in my apartment?" As the door opened, a middle-aged man showed up from the door with a serious look on his face.
"Huh? What do you mean by "who are you?", I live in this apartment!" Kal was confused and shocked as he saw the man with the small confused face as him.
"We've been living here for the past year, you must have mistook it for another apartment and even still, I have never seen your face before. Who are you? Are you thief?" The man asked. He sounded very alert as he held a knife behind his back.
'Past year? I've been here just a few weeks ago, there's no way I've mistaken this apartment from someone else.' Kal had a questioned. He knew the man was being truthful and even if he was hiding and knife, Kal could see it clearly but didn't dare to say it as he scanned the apartment, he was stunned and what he saw. He was correct that this was his apartment since it was the only apartment with exclusive rooms, he was shocked after seeing a mother and a child watching television in the living room and the designs were definitely not his and he didn't even saw a single thing that may had belong to him.
"No...way." Kal was I disbelief as his eyes widened. The man still looked alert and as he was about to show the knife at Kal, Kal vanished in the air.
"What the? Who was that guy?"

Kal instantly arrived at the central plaza. It was booming with hunters strolling and as he looked at the center of the plaza, he saw a statue of a sword ingrained in the middle being surrounded by the fountain and flowers.
"Isn't that Dante's rapier?" Kal had a questioned look to why was Dante's rapier made to a statue in the center of the shelter. He asked a nearby hunter and the hunter responded, "Oh that statue, you must've heard the stories of the hero Dante who led the safety of 200 hunters from a swarm of monsters. Sadly he couldn't survive the attacks of the monsters and died heroically in battle."
Kal's expression darkened as he heard the hunters words. His power was boiling like crazy and he felt deep emotions boiling like raging fire as suddenly every hunter the central plaza was suffocating in a powerful pressure.
"I-i...can't...breathe.." The hunter was choking as he tried to breathe for air and everyone else was feeling the same suffocation as well. Some pissed their underwear, some soiled their pants, and a lot fainted. The guards where quick to respond as they began to activate a barrier that protected them from the pressure yet it didn't prove useful as the barrier was slowly fading.
"Who are you to commit such atrocities in the Iron shelter! Identify yourself!" The guard spoke as he aimed his plasma rifle at Kal who seemed unmoving. As they surround him with their weapons ready to trigger their rifles in any second, the shelter master appeared in front of Kal.
"K-kal!? You're alive!?" The man exclaimed in disbelief as he saw Kal. When Kal heard the voice, his power swelled down as he concealed his pressure. Aside from those who fainted, the hunters were now freed from the suffocation.
"Mr. Jomar? Is it true that Dante is dead?" Kal asked in full seriousness. Jomar felt bitter as he didn't want to answer his question. His eyes stared at the rapier statue and looked at Kal in the eyes.
"I'm sorry Kal, he passed away last year."
