Joe clenched his teeth and fist since he was powerless in the situation. he wasn't as powerful as Liam, and he was defeated by a single attack from Liam. Being on the duelist, this outcome was not healthy. He didn't have anything to prove his credibility and hence decided to bear the humiliation in silence.
