When Mia interfered in the chain of attacks from Dino and the captain, she decided to take the greater problem out of the picture. She simultaneously used two level-3 wind spells to blast him away from the scene. She believed that Hans should be able to take the sniper out on his own. Once her target was blasted back, she applied a slip spell on her feet and a special spell which she had created for melee combat called, " Wind thrust".

The concept behind wind thrust was the same theory that used to blast the opponent away. The idea was to give it a powerful push to any target it was applied to. Mia managed to formulate a spell that could be used on her own body and had a reduced power so that her speed could be boosted to the next level, but no imbalance was created.
