THE LICH

Lucas and Carter stood there watching as the fleet of skeleton birds carrying the convoy left the guild premise.

"Was that the right thing to do?" Carter asked.

"What was? You killed a guy; I asked for an island. That is all. If they can't pay, they don't get our services. It is as simple as it can be. Besides, who cares about what they would do? Do you think the WHF has the guts to make the death public? That Raul guy understood the situation pretty well. They were in our home, and still, a bitch in their group dared to bark in front of us. None of them would have returned alive if Leon were here." Lucas said.

"Hehe." Carter couldn't help but laugh at the situation. Lucas's words might be valid. They could never be sore about Leon's movements. He was a blank slate whose thoughts and actions couldn't be perceived with logic.

"I guess we need to ask him to come out," Carter said.
