Lucy's pov
I didn't actually go and do what he said to do, I was outside the door most of the time. I knew that he was up to something I just didn't know what. So I did what any good girlfriend would do and just listened to him. I know that there is a slim chance for my mom to get well but I will take whatever hope I can. Especially if it means that I can see her or even hear her voice again. The sound of her voice is like lemonade on a warm summer day which gives you that same soothing effect. I'm not exactly mad at him. I get why he did what he did but he should've known that I could handle it and that he could tell me.
I express those thoughts to him when he exits the room. "Is there something that you wanted to tell me?" I cock an eyebrow at him with my arms folded across my chest. He looks like a deer in headlights and its hilarious to watch him squirm under my gaze. The look he gave me is priceless. When I explain to him my thoughts earlier he seems to understand. This is why its best to not just overreact and assume things. In situations like these its better to talk it out.
