HER STORY
It is night. The girl is looking herself in the mirror.
" Witch, Witch. You killed your own parents"
The image of people calling her witch and throwing random things playing in her mind. She thinks about the morning incident and the talk with the nokk.
MORNING, AT LAKE.
" Human. I'm just a human" she said looking at the male.
She sighs and sit down on the side of the lake, putting her legs in the water. She starts telling the incident that happened in the big city, Enugu.
When she was 16 years old. That day her father come home earlier than before. She overhear her dad's conversation with her mother.
" You don't have to prepare dinner, babe. We can go out for dinner today" she squeals in happiness.
" Really? I'm so happy baby" her mother hugged her dad.
" Where is my princess?"
" I'm here dad" she run over to her dad and jump into his arms.
" Were you earsdropping our conversation" her mom asks putting hands on her waist as Alahita chuckled.
" Bad girl"
" Dad see she call me bad" Alahita says pouting and crying dramatically.
" Hey, why did you call my princess bad, she is the one and only good girl existing in this whole world" her dad said sarcastically, laughing and making her mom laugh too. Alahita hit her dad with her fist lightly.
" It's getting late go and get ready" dad said as he put Alahita down from his arms as she run upstairs. They all get ready and get on the car. After minutes of driving they arrive at the restaurant and enter. Alahita pull her dad to a table and they sit there.
After eating dad ask
" Do you guys want something more"
" No baby, we are already full"
" No I have space to eat one more icecream"
" How much icecream do you eat one day Alia. You'll get I'll if you eat more" her mom says with concern.
" Please mom one more" she says whining.
" Okay, Okay" dad says calming Alia.
" No babe!" mom order.
" That's enough for today, Alia" she say looking at the pouting girl.
" I'm not gonna fall for your pout. Come on get up let's go"
They get out of the restaurant. Alahita is pouting all the time. Until she saw someone showing an icecream in front of her eyes as she turn around
" Dad?"
Her dad give her the icecream as she hugged her dad, smiling.
" Dad and daughter, don't ever obey me. If you get ill I'm gonna spank you both"
They laughed.
" Dad can we go to park" Alia ask with hope.
" Anything for my princess" her dad says smiling warmly.
" Yey, my dad is the sweetest" she yells jumping in happiness.
" Then what about me?" mom asks her acting sad.
" You're my mom, my angel" she says hugging her mom.
They get on the car and her dad starts driving to the park.
As they were on the bridge suddenly a car come fastly from the opposite and hit them causing them to fall in the river. Alahita hit her head on the front seat and lose her conscious. After a second, she feel someone pick her up as she opened her eyes and see herself on the bank of the river.
" Anahita"
She hear a female voice calling her as she looks up and see beautiful female figure, half human , half water.
Alia back away a little. Sensing the fear on the little girl the female say
" Don't worry you are safe"
" Who are you?"
" I'm oshuna, goddess of the river"
" Mom ? Dad?" Alia question with hope.
" They are deserve to die for you, my princess. You have to live. No water powers can kill you"
She sighs after telling the story. She look at the boy sitting beside her and staring at her.
" And because of the bless you couldn't do anything to me nor any water powers can "
" Do you have a sister" The boy ask her with a calm tone, looking deep into her eyes.
" No?" she answer him with a questionable face.
Without saying anything the boy stand up from the ground and says
" It's too late you should go"
The girl nodded, standing and starts walking but halts at her path as she hear the boy saying which leaves her in total confusion before he disappear into the water.
" Anahita, the goddess of water" he looks up " nice name"
