Three weeks

She still couldn't believe that today marks a year of her supposed

marriage which her ex-fiancée or should she say her husband to

be who got married to her best friend instead of being married to

her. She watched as flakes of snow fell from her window to the

white ground filled with snow and made a sign of painful

memories which almost led to cry but she had to stop it with a

bite of her lower lips.

Hey beauty! Annabel's mother said with a sad smile knowing

exactly what her daughter was thinking about but could do

nothing to stop her from thinking about it.

Hello mother. She said cleaning the tears off her face quickly so

that her mother would not see her crying and get upset

What are you doing here all alone dear? She asked

Nothing mother just getting some fresh air. She replied

Oh darling am sorry I was such a bad mother. She said

No mother, you are the best mother in the world. She replied

I wish I can say that too. Her mother replied as she held back the

tears forming in her throat.

Well I am assuring you mother that you are the best mother in

the world.

Really my beauty? She asked with a smile

Yes, mother you and father are the best parent a child could ask

for. She replied with tears gushing down her face.

knocking on the door and then realizing the mother and daughter
