Virtual Reality

Ben slowly got up to leave the class ,and he stepped out of the class quickly as if he felt no pain in his body.

Allison too quickly got up and started to follow Ben out of the class.

It was time for the last class of the day. It was a bit different than other classes. It was V.R Game class.

Ben read his timetable ,and found out the place of the next class. It was located in a room inside their dormitories.

"Why would they keep the classroom inside the dormitory? It's strange",thought Ben.

Allison who was looking keenly into her timetable , suddenly exclaimed,"I think it is a introductory class for virtual reality , I haven't experienced it anywhere ,come quick Ben let's go faster."

He quickly looked at the Timetable for other days but it didn't mention the class for any other days.

He followed Allison ,and had to increase his pace as Allison was going quickly as a child trying to play with a toy.

Allison had never experienced Virtual Reality her whole life , it was completely new to her.

Even though Antartica had become a place which was habitable , it didn't have many facilities, and V.R was one of them.

And even if they had them, they would have very less amount of time to use them , as living every day there was a struggle.

Ben and Allison came to the place where zing boards where available, they quickly got on them ,and went towards their destination.

All they had to do was set their classroom , the zing boards quickly flew to the destination.

Their destination was a very huge room, near the meditation rooms on the ground floor of their dormitory.

The room had a glass door in front which clearly showed what was inside the room.

The room was filled with brand new VR cabins, They were the latest version of cabins out in the market.

As they had rushed down to the place, they still had to wait for ten minutes for the alloted class to start, they had a huge waiting lounge with every necessities like food , drinks ,and even a VR offline marketplace which sold some goods useful in the VR .

The lounge was capable of seating all the students in their classroom.

Allison and Ben was busily looking through everything without touching them ,so as they didn't cause any trouble. Even though Ben was excited he was still feeling a bit reluctant to touch the VR cabins as he hadn't operated one in five years.

"Ben what does this do..... and that ..",Allison was asking questions about literally everything.

Ben had some experience with VR ,but Allison on the other hand had never experienced Virtual Reality. So Ben was explaining how everything worked out in VR and was giving some beginner tips ,and how the VR cabins worked.

The students started rushing in as it was about time for the class to get started , the seats were starting to get filled up. Ben and Allison also found some seats to sit.

Sharply at the start of the class , the Big screen in front of the lounge lit up. And it started moving , a beautiful anime girl appeared on it.

"Hey everyone,my name is Rika , your guide for the VR world , As some of you here would have never experienced VR ,I would be guiding you today to an awesome adventure."

The anime girl quickly showed a heart finger with a smile,and the students went wild especially the boys.

"Before getting in I would like to say something important, the VR world is something which we have perfected through enormous efforts, It exactly mimics the real world. Some of your future exams and competitions will be held in the VR ,as it would help us to clearly assess you without causing you any harm , afterall you are our greatest assets.

So please make sure that you familiarise yourselves with the world ,and all competitions available in it. So that you may not be at a disadvantage when the exams start.

Let's begin our class now, Everyone get into the cabin , I will make sure you get to know everything ",said the girl in a cute voice with a flirtatious look.

The room went wild again ,and started to move towards the VR cabin.

Everyone got in the cabins quickly. Ben and Allison also did the same.

Once they got into the cabins , it started to light up ,and once they got into the perfect position.

A small warning sign appeared before them, Please don't try to move from your position , you are completely safe ,and will not undergo any harm, However highly excessive use of VR has a very slight chance of causing brain damage.

"Do you wish to enter the VR world ",a small prompt appeared on the glassy screen which appeared in front of the users.

"Don't worry students just click on yes and sit tight",said the voice of the anime girl inside every cabins.

A small membrane made up of nanities started to cover their body. It was almost as if it was engulfing them , a VR headset started forming on their top of their heads ,and locked itself to their faces.

For some reason they felt safe ,and didn't fear about what was going to happen next.

A small lush world appeared in front of them , and suddenly they warped into a room filled with grid lines.

It was the beginner's room. Everyone could see a mirror in front of them which showed a formless figure which was themselves.

"Don't worry students, this is just the beginners area , here your whole body will be formed exactly as in real world , and you will be allowed to choose a name"

Within seconds their body started materialising on the formless figure.

A name window appeared in front of them,

"As you know there are many users of the VR everywhere in the world , If you want to name yourselves please be unique about it , as usernames cannot be repeated ".
