Luna's expression was one of shock and disgust. "What?" Was all she could utter as she stepped away from her mentor. "What are you saying?" She whispered.
Lord Ladran glimpsed down. Aether was running off somewhere, and Erika seemed quite content with the amount of training she had gotten. The middle-aged scholar sighed, he had two, maybe three minutes to get this done.
"Don't you get it?" He raised his palm to his chest, and a sigil appeared in the air. "I'm from the same place as Aether. A different, opposing family though." He chuckled. "And I can't let what you know about that young man to be revealed to anyone." He added after a moment with a darker expression.
"What?" Luna mumbled again. Her back leaned on the railing. "I wouldn't-"
"I know you'd never betray his trust – but I can't chance it. No one can know about him, or me."
