Beneath layers of rock and stone, of dirt and dust, the Hidden World is where magic and the magicians thrive. The mundane world, untouched by magic and the arcane, was of no interest to them, up until a disaster that took place fifteen years ago, revealing the hidden truth to humanity.

Now, the mundane world is slowly adjusting to the existence of magic and the otherworldly as wildmagic runs rampant, threatening to kill and destroy. Magic schools have opened up, and children are encouraged to learn magic.

Though his presence is not enough to stop the attempts at Iris’ life, his sense of duty will not allow him to fail, no matter what.

Bound to the Yotsura clan by an oath of blood, and his powers under lock and key, Aether must do his best with this limited form to protect Iris as well as the school itself.

The Prodigy of the Hidden World

Her somewhat wavy hair surrounded her face, making her face seem smaller than it actually was. Her lips formed a smile as she pulled away from Aether's view. "Come on, get up. You're not hurt too badly, are you?"

It took Aether a moment to catch up with what was going on. He turned around and got up on his knees. "Since when have you been watching me?" He asked with a hint of annoyance in his voice. He would have noticed her if she arrived before he touched the barrier.

"Not long." Freya said with a chuckle. "I noticed the barrier acting odd, came to take a look and saw you get blasted away from it." She leaned forward while joining her hands behind her back. "Looks like you grazed your arms." She added, her gaze lingering on Aether's right arm.

Aether glanced down at his arm to see the tiniest bruise. "Eh, it's fine." He said with a sight, then got back up on his feet.
