The Grand Library

Iris sighed. Mara had gone to the bathroom for a shower, or so she had said. She seemed shaken after hearing Iris' warning. It was hardly surprising, so far she had been just a normal girl studying in an academy. What she had gone through in these last couple of days was bound to mess up anyone.

Her gaze lingered on Erika. How could she sleep so soundly in a place she didn't even know of until last night? A smile formed on her lips. At least, unlike Mara and Iris, Erika was getting some rest.

She approached the bed and pulled the blanket to Erika's shoulders so she wouldn't get cold, then headed to the door. She took her cloak from the hook behind the door, put it around her shoulders, then opened the door and stepped outside.
