"But then again, I assume you at least guessed I was somehow involved in this, didn't you?" The Herald asked with an almost wicked smile on his lips. He tightened his grasp on Aether's hair as his expression darkened. "Such a fool I have been," He hissed. "But thankfully, you weren't as brilliant as I feared either."
He let go of Aether's hair. And slowly circled around him. He paused behind Aether's back and placed his hands on the young man's shoulders.
"When I set that trap for you, I honestly didn't expect you to drain yourself so much that you would be powerless against a bunch of thugs." He said with a soft voice. Aether breathed out a sharp breath as the man let go of his shoulders. He could feel the anger swelling within him. How dare him?
