ShapeShifter

Daniel could feel the darkness lifting. It has listened to his command. Daniel could see all the way to the edge of the barrier. He could see as if it was daytime. He saw thousands of mini, sharp needles being shot at him. He looked at his hands, they were sore with needles. It hit his body and disappeared. He looked up to see the pilot standing there, his eyes a mad glowing black. His hands were pointed towards him and wide open. Daniel suddenly realised something. 'That isn't the pilot' Daniel thought and he was right...

Right in front of his eyes, the 'pilot' transformed into someone Daniel knew so well, Dennis. Then he transformed into Kirsk and then Mrs Katrina, then his old teacher, Mr Drossman, then Myra followed by Edger and Harold. All while this was happening, the different bodies laughed. Daniel tried to stop staring at the people he knew so well and liked. The bodies stopped changing and an old haunched man with a walking stick stood in the place. "This is the look I mostly like to go by" the old man said. "My name is the ShapeShifter" Daniel realised with pure horror that this was the man who he saw at the Assembly Hall. As if reading his thoughts, the man said "I've been keeping an eye on you, I wanted to see what the famous child of Darkness was capable of."

"I'm not impressed with you so far. You can see in the dark, that's it." Daniel was mad. Not only did he hurt his friends, he insulted him. 'He is going to pay' Daniel thought. A dark black and purple aura started surrounding him. "Impressive" the ShapeShifter said teasily, as if he had seen all of this before. Daniel started to rise. He was full of pure hatred for the shape shifting monster. He raised his hand and a thin line of dark purple energy shot from his hands. It started to become alive coiling the ShapeShifter. It got closer and closer but the ShapeShifter just smiled. Without moving, a burst of energy radiated the villain and the Dark energy disintegrated.

But Daniel wasn't finished. He shot two balls of dark ooze at the tyrant but he blocked it with his bare hands with ease. "My turn" he whispered and darts of poison was released from his hands. It shot Daniel at light speed. It hit either side of his arm and he flew back hitting the barrier. Daniel stared at his arm. A purple shade started forming in his hands. His hands hurt so badly they Daniel didn't have the will to move them. He lay there, gnashed and poisoned, at the verge of death.

"What happened, child of Darkness, are you too weak" the ShapeShifter teased. Daniel felt homeless. The tyrant was enjoying this. He could hear his friends shouting from the other side of the barrier. Daniel was impressed. Dennis was throwing huge balls of flames at the barrier but it didn't even dent it. Igor was trying to hit it will solid steel and Catherine tried growing ivy into the other side trying to aid him in battle. But everything they tried was useless. Daniel was alone to win this fight...
