Ellen rolled her eyes inwardly.

 ' Complimenting my looks was at least pleasing to hear, good taste indeed. But... "

She looked at him with a straight.

 " Pardon me Director Shen. I appreciate your offer but I'll have to decline it. "

 The middle aged man's face fell and his bright eyes dulled. Judging from her attitude, he had already guessed the outcome but it was still disappointing to hear her rejection.

 He was always a confident man but in this case , he knew that nothing could be said to convince this woman otherwise.

 She had a domineering aura that was not to be triffled with. He rubbed his temples as he raked his brain for a way to convince her.

 " May I ask why ? You're bound to be successful and make a name for yourself. "

 " Director Shen, I'm not interested in joining the entertainment industry. " Ellen said with finality. Her voice was calm but the tone held no room for further discussion. Her beautiful brows were furrowed. She was starting to feel tired.

 She had walked for hours in the zoo from morning with the two hyperreactive brats. Her head was starting to ache due to the scorching sun.

 ' I'm dying from hunger!! This old man is rather stubborn. ' She grunted inwardly but her face was blank with a slight expressionless smile on her lips.

 She was wondering what the man saw in her. Was he insane? He should have looked at Sherry. The brat would be more than willing.

 Director Shen was also getting frustrated.

 He had gotten some hope when he saw her and was ready to defy his biggest investor.

 ' Seems like I'll have to do with that ice queen! '

He thought while running his hand through his neatly combed hair with a frown on his face.

 He took a golden plated card from his suit pocket and handed it to her.

 " Miss, this is my card. Incase you change your mind or need something, feel free to contact me. "

 Ellen was good at making connections. She knew that although she didn't know the man, he might be of importance someday. She wasn't reluctant in receiving the card.She smiled gently.

 " Thank you Director Shen. "

 The two men were almost dazed by her charming smile. Her eyes dazzled as she smiled.

 It was a sincere smile unlike the previous expressionless one. She exuded confidence and elegance.

 A tiny babyish voice of the little girl snapped them back to their senses.

 " Uncle director, if you want to reach out you can contact this number or visit this address. "

 Sherry had rummaged through her tiny pink princess backpack and took out a grey card. It had the contacts and address of the restaurant owned by the Songs.

 Ellen always gave such cards to the children incase of any emergencies.

 Liam had once gotten lost in London when he was a lot younger. Fortunately, his uncle Lucas had forgotten to remove his card that he had casually tossed in Liam's school bag the day before.

 Consequently, a kind woman who had found the stranded Liam saw the card and called Lucas .

 The occurrence had given Ellen the biggest scare of her life. Since then she adopted the practice.

 Director Shen's gloominess instantly vanished and his face brightened up. He picked the card and warmly smiled at Sherry with interest.

 ' This child is so thoughtful and adorable. ' He was amazed. The little girl had bright eyes which were blue colored and her tiny cute smile was as mesmerizing as her mother's.

 Ellen didn't mind because she knew the little fox was shamelessly promoting old Song's restaurant.

 " You own a restaurant, that's great. Are you a chef? " The director asked Ellen once he noticed the restaurant logo on the grey card. His words contradicted his thoughts because in no way this woman looked like a chef.

 With her carefree and indifferent attitude she looked more of a gangster!!
