Ellen observed the whole bickering with an amused expression. " Come, let mommy take a look at your legs. Mommy will blow on them to chase away the pain. "

 Sherry's face brightly lit up and she quickly jumped into her mother's embrace mockingly grinning at Sun Sun

" You cunning little fox!! You didn't even touch the floor, you let my little handsome Champ take the fall for you. "

" That's what big brothers do, little Champ would never allow even my pinky to get hurt, " Sherry replied to Song Enya smugly. Liam immediately agreed sending daggers to Sun Sun. " That's right, my younger sister can never get hurt. "

 " Oh, now whose legs feels like sleeping for a whole week, huh? You little drama queen, let me get a hold of you, I'll shred your body into pieces! "

 " Little Ellen, mommy!! Big brother help! Baby is very scared. "

 " No one will save you little darling, not even your heroic big brother. "

 Sun Sun hauled Sherry from Ellen's embrace and started tickling her making the little girl let out a high pitched, ear splitting scream. " Aaaaahhh!!!! Mommy help! Hahaha...!!! S-stop!!" She laughed hard her body twitching in pleasure while weakly struggling to escape her aunt's monster claws.

 " Aunt Sun Sun stop taking advantage of a small baby, hmph," Liam pressed his lips tightly and clenched his tiny fists.

 The corners of Ellen's mouth turned upwards and she waved at the kids to come closer. " Alright!! alright, come here you two, let mommy give her two adorable precious little babies a good morning kiss. " She gave them each a resounding kiss on their moist and rosy cheeks.

 " If you thought I had forgotten, mommy hasn't forgotten what she promised. Mommy will shower in five minutes then we'll eat breakfast and go to the zoo to visit cute baby monkeys, okay? Now go and check what your handsome grandpa Song has prepared for breakfast. "

 " Okay little Ellen! " They responded simultaneously and excitedly dashed out of the bedroom.

The room regained it's silence once the children left. It was quiet but the silence was not awkward for the two women left in the room. Sun Sun glanced at her silent best friend before she quietly sighed. She slowly walked towards her bed , lifted the quilt and laid next to her.

 " Don't be stingy, I want to share your pillow," she said coyly as she snuggled into Ellen's neck like a little kitten wrapping her arms around her affectionately. Ellen's brows furrowed and she crinkled her nose. She stabbed her finger at Sun Sun while struggling to unwrap her hands off her body.

 " Song Enya don't disgust me!!" Ellen's jaw clenched and she squinted her dark eyes. She shoved the unwarned Sun Sun to the other side of the bed. She had unconsciously used too much force resulting in Sun Sun landing hard on the floor on her butt.

 " Ouch!!! It hurts." *sob* The fall was unexpected and her butt hurt so much that her eyes watered. She awkwardly stood up one hand holding the side of the bed the other rubbing her aching back.

 She glanced at Ellen who laid on the bed indifferently as if non of what had happened concerned her. Sun Sun pouted her lips and laid next to her rolling her eyes.

 " Jeez, do you have to be so unromantic?

I was just sharing my love... " Sun Sun's eyes held accusations but once she saw Ellen's ' imma beat yo ass ' face, she shrinked back and words got stuck to her throat. " Okay, okay! You don't have to be this fierce towards me. You look like you wanna skin someone alive. Your face is so pale, did somebody die in your nightmare? "

 " Shut up idiot! " Ellen snapped at her. Her little face stiffened and it lost its color. Her body shuddered and she rubbed her neck despondently. Her face contorted and she covered it with her hands to hide her glistening eyes.

 Sun Sun eyed her and felt a stabbing pain in her heart. " You're okay? "

Ellen puffed her cheeks while exhaling. She gave her a weak smile and nodded her head, " Yeah, I'm fine. I'm okay, totally fine. "

 " Really? You're repeating your words, you're pale and you look like you're going to pass out. "

 " Yeah, you might wanna catch me. "

 Sun Sun looked at her and smiled gently. She placed her arms at the back of her head lying on them. She slowly sighed and stared at Ellen before she spoke in a soft voice full of concern.

 " Why do you run from your problems all the time? You're crying..."

 " I'm not crying, I'm just tired, just have some - okay I'm crying but if you tell anyone I'll make you regret it!" Ellen pouted her lips and gave the smiling Sun Sun a deathly glare.

 " You're kind of an ugly crier you know?"

 " Shut your foul mouth and leave me alone. I'm not like this all the time. I just feel doomed today." Ellen finished almost in a whisper.

 Sun Sun moved towards her and pulled her into her embrace. She planted a soft peck on her forehead and gently stroked her hair.

 Ellen and Song Enya had been best friends for more than 10 years. They met while they were kids and due to their similar personalities, they immediately cliqued.

 They had been together through thin and thick, shared happiness and sorrows. Each had seen the other person at her lowest time. Every emotion of the other person wasn't new to the other.

 When the whole world turned against Ellen and termed her unworthy, Song Enya was there. She was there in her worst and darkest time. She believed her, understood and felt what she felt.

 When Ellen left her home despaired, Song Enya and her dad Song Wei took her in and they all left for abroad. They taught her to forget her past , to appreciate what still remained and look forward to what would come next.

Sun Sun ruffled Ellen's hair and poked her moist cheek with her index finger. Her expression was gentle as she gazed at her. Her gaze was calm and comforting. " Little Elly, sometimes you have to get knocked down lower than you ever have been to stand back up taller than you ever were. Look, I get that you're sad but it's going to be okay, okay?"

 " mmmh , " Ellen answered in a muffled voice. Silence ensued the room but Sun Sun broke it almost half a minute later.

 " Ellen, I feel like cuddling with you the whole day, can we just stay in bed? I promise to take responsibility, I'll marry you, what do you think? It's a yes isn't it?" She asked with a coquettish voice.

Ellen's face darkened and she narrowed her reddened eyes. She smacked the grinning woman at the back of her head pushing her out of the bed. Sun Sun dashed towards the door when she saw the chilly look on Ellen's eyes.

 " And by the way hurry up and go to the bathroom, you kinda stink. Did you even shower yesterday? I can bet on..."

" Shut up or I'll put a bullet in your skull!" Ellen's voice roared in the room cutting short Sun Sun's words.

 "Awwww!!!" 

 A huge pillow flew and heavily knocked Sun Sun's head. Before the second pillow could knock her, she hastily opened the door and sprinted out of the room letting out ear splitting shrieks.
