" The hell, I'm about to die from hunger! Today's dramas are making me sick! "

She groaned in an unladylike manner scratching her hair. She pulled out the tiny black hair band on her ponytail and her waist length black hair cascaded down her shoulders in a lazy manner.

Some strands fell on her face. She irritatedly pushed them behind her ears.

Old Hua gave her a helpless smile and gestured her to take her seat. He also never expected such an occurrence when he invited her for lunch.

" Take a seat little woman, the food is about to be served. I ordered your favourite beforehand. "

Ellen shot him a cold look. She knew she was short but hated it when people rubbed it on his face.

She was not that short but was not tall either.

She took her seat and cursed the old man repeatedly.

" Have you lost your eyesight, do I look short to you?!! "

She complained wearing a dark look.

Old Hua sneered at her disdainfully when he saw her seated without any ounce of shame.

The chairs were a bit high and it'd be difficult for the children to climb up by themselves. Ellen was seated with complete disregard.

Old Hua helped the two pitiful children to sit then took his own seat wondering how this woman was even a mother in the first place.

But he was not surprised, he was used to her behavior. Ellen saw his contemptuous looks and rolled her eyes.

She had completely forgotten about the brats. They were also looking at her as if she was the best definition and example of failure in motherhood.

She had been too tired to care about them. She smirked at the old man who was still despising her in his mind from his scornful gaze.

" You quite make a good great grandfather. " She said with a wide grin on her face. Old Hua humphed and rolled his eyes at her. She was hiding her shamelessness with her fake praises.

' Shameless woman! '

He ignored her and began chatting with the children. Ellen chuckled lightly. She found the old man cute. He was old but not that old. Although he was in his early 70s and his face had some wrinkles, his looks were still pleasing to the eye. He must have been quite the catch in his early ages.

He had worn a white cotton shirt tucked in his black pants. He had worn an expensive black belt and his hair was neatly combed. The corner of Ellen's lips curved upwards when she was eyeing him. ' He still knows how to take care of his looks. '

Their food was served and Mrs Li returned to her seat. Her elegance and graceful demeanor had returned though she was still giving Ellen and the children secret glances with her slightly red eyes due to her previous break down. She apologized for her earlier misconception. They ate while chatting naturally disregarding their earlier awkwardness.

Mrs Li looked at Ellen intently and asked, " so miss Lee... "

" Please call me Ellen, that one is too formal. " Chimed in Ellen.

Mrs Li smiled. " Okay Ellen, your children are so cute and adorable. They are polite and intelligent also, you must have taught them well. " The tip of Ellen's ears turned red. She was embarrassed!

" Um... thank you Mrs Li. "

Old Hua scoffed silently. He almost choked on the water he was drinking.

' Shameless! Polite? Who taught who well ? Thick skinned and pretentious people! '

Ellen saw his expression and smirked at him.

" They are not twins, are they? How old are they? " Mrs Li continued. Ellen was busy admiring her. She was eating very elegantly and acted like a royal blood. It represented her sophisticated and noble status.
