After the death of his elder brother and sister-in-law, Mo Shan decided to adopt his 5 years old nephew. His only goal was to raise his nephew properly and make him his heir.

Being an orphan, Yun Xi's only wish was to have a stable life and a peaceful, happy family. But, after being pregnant out of wedlock, her life took a sharp turn.

What will happen when these two meet and what sparks will it create in their life?

"I thought the child was mine?", Yun Xi mumbled.
"But you both are mine now.", he replied hearing her mumbling.
'But I was just bending to pick up the file. How will I hurt the child?', she thought in her mind.

Guests started filling in, and the atmosphere started being livid. Around 6 in the evening, a total of five cars strolled inside the compound. From the first one, an old-aged man alighted. Though he looked old, there was a sharp glint in his eyes which made him look a bit scary. He was surrounded by bodyguards. After he got off the car, the rest of the car doors also opened, and the people inside the car stepped down from it. Each of them was accompanied by at least one bodyguard. 


All of them came to stand beside the old man. One of the middle-aged men from the group stepped forward and asked, "Father, it's just a welcoming party for a girl. Did all of us have to come?" A tinge of displeasure and disgust could be felt in his words. From his words alone, one could guess that he is a misogynistic person. [Misogynist: A person who dislikes, looks down upon, and has a prejudice against women.]
