Ever since I was a child, people keep saying that I am just an adopted child. I keep on denying myself that I am not adopted though many people noticed that I don’t resemble my parents, unlike my younger brother. 

Until one day, a couple went to our house, claiming that I am their daughter. 

I didn’t expect that aside from my birth parents, I will also found the love that I was always dreaming of having.

I easily got along well with Andrew’s family. They invited me again this weekend to spend time with them. 


I don’t have work in my dad’s company because my work schedule there is only Monday to Friday. I also don’t have a schedule with Vince this weekend so I am free to meet Andrew’s parents again. 


“Alli I’m glad you came!” Auntie Gwen said when she saw me. 


After we greeted each other we went inside their house. 


“Auntie is there an occasion today?” I curiously ask upon seeing some family relatives of Andrew. 


“We don’t have Alli. It so happens that they also visited me today.” Auntie Gwen said. 


I look around to see if Iya is also here. 


“Is Iya also here Auntie?” I asked when I failed to see Iya. 


“Oh yes, she’s also here. I think she’s in the pool area. She looks sad actually, she seems to have a problem.” She also looks concerned when she said that to me. 


“Really Auntie? Is it okay if I went to her now?” I said worriedly.
