A knock on my office door startled me and I looked up just in time to see the last person I expected at my workspace.

"Hello, dolcezza. How's your day going?" He invited himself in without asking me anything as I knew he rendered me speechless from the unexpected appearance he made of himself at my office. He settled down comfortably on the couch and smiled softly at me like we were in a healthy, happy relationship and he just came here to give his lover a surprise visit! Damn him…

"What the hell are you doing here?" I asked coldly and he shook his head in amusement.

"Last time after you asked the same question, I made love to you on your couch!" He winked at me.

I was broken out of my reverie when John entered the room but stopped at the door when he saw my state. 


“Did something happen?” He questioned quietly and I sat upright after shaking my head. 


“No, I was just wondering about my life, nothing else.” I smiled faintly and he relaxed. 


“It’ll be alright I promise you, just never lose hope. Okay?” And I nodded with a smile. 


“Anyway, I came here to inform you about your guest with whom Saira is busy talking.” I raised my eyebrows in question. 


“But as long as I remember, I wasn’t expecting anyone today.” I started confusedly. 


“Well, you know him as his name is Jan Aslan.” He announced and my heart stopped for a moment. 


“What the hell is he doing here?!” I stood up in panic which didn’t go unnoticed by John as he lifted up his hands in the air to stop me midway. 


“Calm down and tell me to make him go away if you’re not comfortable to meet him yet.” He said softly.
