“You want me to go?” He asked me.
“Yes, far far away from me.” I clearly saw a flash of pain in Alexander’s eyes but in my complete rage of anger, I ignored it completely. I only focused on evening out my breathing.
Alexander only stood in front of me for long moments, staring into my eyes. It hurt me to look at him, but I didn’t give in. “Come out for dinner with me tonight.” He said, completely surprising me.
I looked at him as if he completely lost it. “Are you for real right now?” I asked him, not hiding my growing anger. I leveled him with my gaze but he didn’t back down. He even lifted his head up higher. I smiled a fake, huge smile, filled with sarcasm. “What game are you playing now, Alex?” I asked him tiredly.
He stepped closer to me and lifted his hand up, nearing it to my cheek but I backed away from him again. He didn’t have the right to touch me again & I wasn’t also prepared to feel his gentle touch again.
“I’m not playing any games, Bella.” He said gently.
