Extra-chapter 5.5

His Saturdays are usually for advance studying and more sleep. But this time, it's different. He's got a date and it's his first! He even researched what to do during dates. He has never been this nervous since he entered puberty.

"Don't forget to compliment her looks!" He reminded his reflection in the mirror as if telling to himself.

After fixing his looks, he quickly left his room to eat some breakfast.

Everyone is busy as ever.

Ren is cleaning the window, Rin is dusting off the furniture, while Ran is in the kitchen as usual. Calcifer just finished preparing his breakfast when he saw him approaching.

"Young master, why are you dressed like that? It's Saturday. You don't have classes today." He said furrowing his eyebrows.

"Oh, I've got a date today." He casually said with a smile and started eating.

Upon hearing the news, Ren almost broke the window glass and Rin almost broke the vase.

Ren mumbled, "Young master..."

"Has a date!?" Rin continued.

Calcifer, on the other hand, didn't say a word.

Rae nodded as he finished his food, "Yeah. I'll be going now. I don't want to keep Yana waiting!" He said before he left the house.

Just then, Primo appeared who looks like someone who just came from sleeping.

"Good morning everyone..." He yawned.

But he shot his eyes open when Calcifer suddenly grabbed him.

"How come... you let the young master... date a human!?" He said with a scary face and intimidating aura.

He's obviously mad.

Struggling to breathe, the small bat still managed to speak, "D-date..? T-they were just... pretending..."

"I don't care whatever reason they have! Do your job and follow the young master or else..." He released heat from his hand.

"I'll burn you to ashes!"

Terrified, Primo quickly flew away, "Yes boooosss!!!" He exclaimed and left.

This poor small bat followed Yana and Rae all throughout even the sun is still bright. Good thing, their first stop is in the movie house which is darker.

"Ugh... The sun's light almost drained my energy! I need to preserve it to watch for the young master." Primo said and glanced at them as the movie was about to start.

"I guess a little nap won't hurt." He mumbled and closed his eyes.

Soon after, when Primo opened his eyes, the show has ended. What's worse, Rae and the others are gone!

"Oh no! Where they could've gone?" He panicked and flew away to look for them.

Little did Primo know, the gang headed to a fast food restaurant to have their lunch. It was not too far away from the movie house.

Too bad the small bat flew farther than that.

When Josh left to take their orders, Yana also left to go to the restroom. Now it's just Ella and Rae.

"I'm glad you accepted Yana to have a date with you." She started the conversation.

Rae shook his head, "We're just pretending." He said and smiled.

Ella blinked and stared at him for a moment, checking if he's joking or not. But it seems like he's telling the truth.

Rae glanced at the window beside them, "You see, Yana's really worried for you. She wanted to meet the man you're so into and doesn't want you to get hurt. She's so desperate and asked me to date her. And now we're pretending so that she could watch over you." He placed his chin on his palm and looked at her with a sincere smile.

"Yana... did that?" Ella mumbled as she came to a realization of her friend's sacrifice.

The lad nodded, "Yes, she's really a good friend. You should treasure each other."

Ella smiled and chuckled, "I will. Thank you, Rae!"
