Chapter 2.

It was old, the year 1975 since the end of the Holy War.

Across a meadow surrounded by woods and hills, there is a village called Omah, a beast skin village, with 300 inhabitants, and on a small farm, you can see how a small family of 4 is working and playing.

Two little boys were playing, an 11-year-old girl being chased by her 14-year-old big brother.

"I'll get you, little sister!" Shouted a red-haired redhead and a foxy boy with spiky hair.

"No you won't hahaha." -said the girl as she ran and jumped around the garden, being just like her brother, except she had dark grey hair with little blonde highlights in her hair.

"Stop running or you'll hurt the kids!" Shouted the mother as she ran out of the house, she was of medium height, half wolf and half fox fur beast skin, beautiful black hair, emerald blue eyes with beautiful piercing curves.

"No problem because mom can heal us..." The girl couldn't finish speaking when she tripped over a stone and hurt herself on the spot.

"Misha! Honey, are you okay?" - The mother asked with concern as she checked the little girl. "Son, go get your father."

The boy quickly went to the backyard to look for his father, he was a stout, blond man with strong arms, and most strikingly, he was human chopping firewood.

"Father father, a mother is calling you, I think Misha has hurt his leg!"

"What, let's go fast!!!" The stout-looking man threw down the ax and ran in search of his daughter.

When he reached the front yard, he noticed his daughter with a large cut on her leg and his wife who was cleaning the wound with a cloth.

"What happened, how did she get hurt!" The father shouted with concern on his face and in his voice.

"There's no time for that, go to the house and get the honey, Quick!" -Without a second thought, the man ran home in search of the honey his wife was asking for.

After about two minutes, the man ran out of the house with the honey in his hand.

"Here it is, honey." Said the man in an agitated voice.

"Thank you." Replied the mother, gently placing the honey on the girl's leg.

"BWAAA ... IT HURTS ME, MOM, IT HURTS ME!!!". Misha screamed in pain and tears welled up in her eyes and as the minutes passed, she began to heal herself with the honey on her leg.

"It's ok Misha, it's ok, I will heal you now." Said the mother gently as she placed her hands near his wound. -WATER MAGIC - HOLY WATER HEALING. " Said the mother as a chant invoking the water and healing the wound with considerably fast speed.

The girl was healed from her wound in just a minute and wearily took off the honey, as her mother ended up tired because she didn't have that much mana.

"REAL EYE." -said the father as he looked at his wife.

"Honey, you need to rest, you've spent half your mana on that spell, you'll weaken if you don't rest." Said her husband with concern as he saw his wife's condition.

"Ah... it's okay Carlos, I'll go to bed and get some sleep with Misha."

The mother was carried by her husband Carlos and Misha by his brother Arthur.

The father and son carried them to their rooms and gently placed them in their beds so he could rest.

After a few minutes, the father asked Arthur to follow him downstairs.

"What is it, father?" he asked in a doubtful tone.

"It's time for your training," Father replied with a small laugh as he picked up three swords, one real and two wooden ones.

"What will the training be about?"

"Magic, you know the need for the sword and a bit of magic, first we will practice your spell casting and then you will use dark magic and sword together." -Said the blond father with a somewhat cerium tone of voice like his face.

"But father, don't you think it's too much? And I still don't know how to use dark magic well." Said the boy with regret in his voice.

"Hahaha, maybe, but it's necessary." The father replied with a laugh.

As the father and son walked to a large meadow separated from the village to train, Carlos looked at his son, who was holding a medium-sized wooden sword.

"You look very focused son, although a moment ago you said it would be a lot of work, why is that?" Carlos asked curiously.

"It will soon be my 15th birthday, and neither I nor my sister has the blessings of the gods, why father, we are supposed to go to a cleric to get one?" he asked with some doubt and discouragement.

"Son, you are a Beastskin just like your sister, if by some chance, you and she were to get an incredible blessing, you and she would be in great danger, not to mention, the price for blessing a Beastskin is much higher than blessing a human," Carlos answered seriously.

"Hum, why would that be so bad?" Arthur asked curiously.

"That you'll have to ask your mother when she's ready to do it... but for now you'll have to train with me ."

"Okay, for now, we are far enough away, and now, try to keep up with me with your eyes..." When Carlos finished speaking, he looked with a smile at Arthur and then disappeared from his sight.

Arthur looked in all directions for his father, but could only hear his voice.

"Focus, observe well, use your senses and your sight!" when he finished speaking, Carlos hit Arthur's back causing him to back away.

Arthur pulled himself together quickly and as his father said, he concentrated as much as he could, he used his ears, his sense of smell, and forced his sight as much as he could, he went back to look for his father, this time he managed to capture his trail, his silhouette moving from one side to the other at great speed, Arthur was surprised, because despite having trained together for years, he had never seen him use this incredible speed.

After an hour of training, Arthur was able to fully grasp his silhouette, although when he managed to do so, his eyes ended up with an incredibly strong burning, similar to having dirt thrown directly into his eyes.

Those moans made Carlos, Arthur's father laugh, when he saw that Carlos decided to stop training for that day, so they went for three days, until Arthur could perfectly follow his father's every movement without receiving heat or anything like that.
