S2| 69. Suddenly Tense

The working hour had ended, but Julian was still not back. The feelings that Mia was trying to deny, could no longer be avoided. The longer she waited, the deeper the girl's head bowed.

"Why hasn't Julian sent me a message? Is it possible, he has forgotten about me and gone straight home?” Mia thought as she gripped the phone tighter. The girl really wished the black screen would light up and bring out Julian's name.

"What's wrong, Mia?" Julian asked as soon as he answered the call.

With a stiff expression, the girl asked back, “Where are you, Sir? Why haven't you come back yet?"
